Living In The Material or Thirty Three and a Third probably. I'm really loving "A Time To Love" by Stevie Wonder right now.

I've been going through a big George phase at the moment, have you read his book I Me Mine? I'd like to get it some time. I have Anthology and lots of others but not that one!

For sure! I got ELO from my friend who has a cd, and Jim Gordan..what a tragic end for him...

they give George no credit and he has a lot of good solo albums. i would agree that John was probably most brilliant, love Beautiful Boy among others. And I grew up with Paul too, especially Ram and Flaming Pie - Band On The Run is great too but I think Paul's problem is he has biggest discography to sift through, compared to John and George. anyway, awesome combo!

I admire that. I myself find most social media sites to be quite annoying. Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love love love Halloween! Do you have anything special planned this fall? btw... your profile picture is really cute. Is that you?

Aww thanks Richard! I'm not a photographer. I mostly reblog random pictures that fascinate me. Do you have a tumblr?

I haven't yet! I'm still in the midst of my chronological Dylan exploration, and savoring it all, so I'm only in 1979. At this rate, it may be this time next year before I get to hear Tempest! But that's cool. It's great to know that I have lots & lots of new, unfamiliar Bob ahead of me yet. How about you? Is Tempest to your liking?

Well, just wanted to say that I spent a month out west this summer, and finally did get to take that roadtrip through the mountains with Self Portrait for a soundtrack! And, no surprise, it made me love the album better than ever before. It's a great thing.

it's pretty much beyond words, dude. best night of my young life. musically speaking it was stellar. backing band awesome as usual, and the 5 principals got their mojo goin' as well. mike especially sounded 25 again. almost creepy. they played for nearly 3hrs and it felt like 1hr tops. and i got to meet tons of cool people, too. i had organized a little get-together before and after the show, and a lot of folks showed up. one of those magic nights in berlin... did you catch a show in the states?

I know man, Jeff Lynne is a bit too stiff on Cloud Nine by George and the Wilbury albums, I think he got better though, as I consider Flaming Pie (Jeff L and Paul) and Brainwashed (Jeff L and George) two of the best Beatle solo albums..he also did some tracks with Ringo in the 90s which turned out good! Anyway, it would fit that he'd replace drums with a drum machine! Silly Jeff.

it would be fun for sure! i just started playing with a guy who does Jimi Hendrix music, and dresses the part..will send you video or something once we play a show! What instrument(s) do you play? and lastly, yeah I understand I love CSN(Y) but also the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Hollies. The first CSN album and the second one with NY are killer though :).

Mick Fleetwood is great, very into his toms but tasteful. He's got a great feel, and what a band! Lindsey Buckingham is very underrated too, as a songwriter, producer and especially his guitar playing - fantastic player.
