::EDIT:: - Had word from an expert on such things that this was actually a Circumscribed Halo. Nice. The faint inner halo you can see is a normal 22-degree one!

I've ordered the soundtrack to Tekkon Kinkreet as its been done by the ever awesome Plaid. Will let you know what I thinks when it arrives, and I have had chance to let it sink into my filthy brain-meats. :D

Although I *do* listen to some Death Metal now and then (I was once very much a death metal fan, and growled my way to a bloody throat in a local band), I'm not a huge fan anymore. However, the electronica artist Portal does flag up here as a death metal band, and I know this has brought one or two souls here.

Fieldtriqp has hinted on his MySpace that a full-length CD is in the works, which really made my day. Other musical goodness includes Hills West. Aleksi Perala's new album “Project V” arrived this day, and I'm digesting it at this very moment. Thought I would share my initial thoughts on it with you all, though with the caveat that I may change my opinions completely after further listens.

It's okay. It's not blown me away, and there have been none of those tracks where I feel a delightful shiver run down my spine and feel my imagination getting jacked into overdrive, but it hasn't made me want to get my money back, and has kept my attention.

I'm a psychiatric nurse, and over the next few nights, I am at work.

Naturally, my music will be going with me - not that I can listen to it whilst working.
