Back in February I saw Regina Spektor live and Katzenjammer Kabarett a day later. I apparently completely forgot to mention that here. On Friday, I spent roughly six hours in various trains to see Jason Webley live in Berlin. The train trip was terrible because the trains were slow and I was bored, but it all became better once I arrived Berlin.
I ate disgusting overpriced pizza because I couldn't find the good & insanely cheap Indian restaurant where I ate last time in Berlin. At least I found the Eschschloraque without getting lost. A bit about my life: I went to this zoological park near the Sababurg today. It's been around for some centuries, it's pretty, and it's near the Sababurg, which allegedly is where the Sleeping Beauty slept. *

It's been three months since I've fallen in love with Rasputina! During the last three months they went from #0 to #5 in my charts.

So I saw Katzenjammer Kabarett live on Saturday and I'm going to tell you poor people who haven't seen them with me in Mannheim about it.

Firstly some non-musical information: I was two hours early (even though I managed to get off at the wrong train station) and my other half, aka bombom, was in some traffic jam far away from me. It was boring. I sat in front of that building and waited for soemthing to happen. Nothing did happen, apart from that it became dark and bombom eventually came.

In the summer holidays I had this brilliant plan to see Regina Spektor in Hamburg and Berlin, but she cancelled the shows. (at noon before the show. That means I already was in Hamburg and Berlin when I was told)
She comes to Hamburg in November apparently, but not on the weekend, so I can't go. Damn.
So that was the Bad Part.

Good Things:

I saw The Dresden Dolls in Hamburg two weeks ago and STILL haven't written about it. I'm slow, I'm slow, I know. Blah. I'll change that now.

I just can't get into the original version. I love the song when it's covered by The Dresden Dolls (love! love! LOVE!) and I like Anna Vogelzang's cover version, but the original drives me up the wall.
