    Andy McKee

    Andy with his Harp Guitar

His music has a trance like quality to it, technically proficient that’s obvious, single handed harmonics tapping and percussion, beautiful soothing relaxing music

  • The Refrain of the Corrupt

Melissa Dunphy was born in Brisbane, Australia, to a Chinese mother and a Greek father. She began piano lessons at three, and violin lessons at seven; in her teens, she dabbled in drum kit, French horn and flute. Her current instrument of choice is cello

"The Gonzales Cantata," a gender-bending 40-minute choral work The cantata takes its libretto directly from the 2007 Senate Judiciary Committee hearings in which disgraced former Attorney-General Alberto Gonzales famously said "I don’t recall" more than 71 times.
What can you say about this what a crazy yet brilliant concept this piece 'I dont recall' truly is the refrain of the corrupt, morally bankrupt individuals who are finally having to answer for their sins, but alas their only reply is I dont recall
I do recall James Packer (son of Billionaire Kerry Packer,Media Mogul) During nine days of oral evidence, James Packer said he could not recall or remember details 1,951 times.
They think they are above it all, set apart from the great un-washed Melissa Dunphy has breathed new life into dull politics

    Barrytown

Classic Steely Dan song initially I didnt think it quite cut but it has grown on me

I really love artists singing other peoples songs I fall in love with a particular song and you know how it goes you play it to death and the only way I can hear it again...is to hear a re-working of the same song.
You know to get that little high you get again.Tell me if you agree.
If you have any suggestions pleeze let me know
Distant SunDistant SunShe Will Have Her Way

She has a beautiful voice and does Neil Finn's song justice.Neil Finn is a New Zealander but we claim him as Australian he lived here for a long time, his son Liam jumped on a trampoline with my daughter when she was 4 years old, my brush with fame happened then at that moment in time wow. Liam Finn is gaining success now

    Into TemptationInto Temptation

Renee is an icon in australia, she was Queen of Pop so she must be good. She has a beautiful rich voice and given Neil Finn's song a modern feel. Her voice has changed as she has gotten older and she has said her talking voice sounds like she's been sucking helium very strange

rhythm of the heatRhythm of the Heat

Technically speaking it isnt a cover but its been re-worked mashed up or whatever the fuck your jargon is. I love Peter Gabriel his rhythms have this earthy feel
its like a force of nature cant describe it really.

Boy with the thorn in his side Boy With The Thorn In His Side

Morrissey originally sang this I think this is a beautiful version. Love scott matthews i was pleased he covered this song cos Id played his other songs to death

    What Goes onWhat Goes On

This takes a while to like but its an original cover of a beatles song you have to admire him for orginality and creativity

    ValarieValarie

This is great, liked amy winehouses version too who originally sang it I dont know, both great covers

    Fast CarFast Car

She was in the Sugababes I think, she has refreshed the song given it a modern feel as opposed to tracy chapman's folk feel. very nice

Theres a light that never goes outTheres a light that never goes outNeil Finn

Another morrissey song his lyrics are so honest and not alot of bullshit A beautiful re-working by Neil Finn close to the orginal.

    Stuff & NonsenseStuff & Nonsense

Continuing with a overall love of Neil Finn songs is Missy Higgins this is beautiful, she brings out the beauty of this song with her sweet honey voice
  • SEEN RUFUS LIVE

    Mar 6 2008, 15:11

Well I saw rufus on my own, no matter he was awesome
as you would expect. The very end of the concert was
great where he does a re-enactment of a judy garland song right down to the tumbling dancing boys around him.
Rufus in stilettos and dinner jacket it was great.
Rollingstone made a comment about his vocal style, the fact that he holds onto the last note in a very, I was going to say anal way but maybe thats not appropriate for the gay messiah. any way I just loved him and his voice was
    superb....
