    Ott 29 2011, 8:40

Haven't done one of these in awhile and I'm bored, so...

    1. How did you get into 29?
Taylor Swift -- I don't really remember. I started listening to country music in high school and got pretty into the summer before and the year of my frosh year of college and I think Taylor came with the territory.

    2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22?
Sugarland -- I'm pretty sure it was Stay.

    3. What's your favorite lyric by 33?
Fuel - She cries her life is like
    Some movie; black and white
    Dead actors faking lines
Over and over and over again she cries

    4. What is your favorite album by 49?
Cute Is What We Aim For - The Same Old Blood Rush With a New Touch. Rotation was definitely more mature, but TSOBRWANT (ugh, that's long) was super catchy, and as young as it is, has its clever moments. Plus, it reminds me of high school.

    5. How many albums by 13 do you own?
Straylight Run -- I have all their music, but as far as actual physical copies, I have the eponymous album on CD and I really want their last EPs on vinyl.

    6. What is your favorite song by 50?
Envy on the Coast -- Probably Lapse.

    7. Is there a song by 39 that makes you sad?
    Glee Cast -- Not really.

    8. What is your favorite song by 15?
Mayday Parade -- Three Cheers for Five Years, the acoustic version.

    9. What is your favorite song by 5?
Rocky Votolato -- That's super hard, but probably Suicide Medicine, Makers, or Montana.

    10. Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy?
    Anberlin -- Time and Confusion

    11. What is your favorite album by 40?
Emery -- The Question, hands down. I've tried listening to their newer stuff and never really got into it that much.

    12. What is your favorite song by 10?
All Time Low -- Either Running from Lions or Jasey Rae.

    13. What is a good memory you have involving 30?
Fall Out Boy -- Being hella drunk coming back from a strip club with KC, Tania, Lani, and Nick and FOB playing in KC's car.

    14. What is your favorite song by 38?
The Used -- Blue and Yellow.

    15. Is there a song by 19 that makes you happy?
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus -- Damn Regret.

    16. How many times have you seen 25 live?
Thrice-- Just once, but hopefully I get to see them in November, too.

    17. What is the first song you ever heard by 23?
Against Me! -- That's hard because I think I first heard them on Fuse on one of those shows where you see a bunch of videos by the same artist. I know Thrash Unreal was the first that caught my attention, but Don't Lose Touch or something else may have played before Thrash Unreal did.

    18. What is your favorite album by 11?
Say Anything -- Terribly unpopular opinion, I know, but I adored their last (self-titled) album.

    19. Who is your favorite member of 1?
Taking Back Sunday -- Adam Lazzara is ridiculously gorgeous and completely insane while John Nolan is absolutely adorable and one of the sweetest musicians I've met. No way I can break that tie, haha.

    20. Have you ever seen 14 live?
City and Colour -- Nope, but I'm seeing him next week actually.

    21. What is a good memory involving 27?
Augustana -- I don't know that I have one? I know for awhile I couldn't even listen to one of their album because my old roommate loved it and I couldn't stand her, so that's kinda the opposite.

    22. What is your favorite song by 16?
Something Corporate -- Oh man, SoCo has so much good music. I think I'd have to go with Watch the Sky, Konstantine being a close second.

    23. What is the first song you ever heard by 47?
Yellowcard -- Way Away back in '03.

    24. What is your favorite album by 18?
Senses Fail -- Still Searching, however, if From the Depths of Dreams had been a LP instead of an EP, I probably would've went with that.

    25. What is your favorite song by 21?
Matt Nathanson -- Car Crash I suppose.

    31. How many times have you seen 17 live?
    Paramore-- Never.

    32. Is there a song by 44 that makes you happy?
    Rascal Flatts -- Summer Nights.

    33. What is you favorite album by 12?
Cartel - Chroma, but Cycles was pretty catchy, too.

    34. What is the worst song by 45?
Mariah Carey -- Up Out My Face, it's so cheesy.

    35. What was the first song you ever heard by 34?
Kevin Devine -- I have absolutely no idea because the first time I heard him, it was live as an opening act for Straylight Run. It was probably something off of Put Your Ghost to Rest, though.

    36. What is you favorite album by 48?
Bayside -- The new one, Killing Time.

    37. How many times have you seen 42 live?
3 Doors Down -- None, but I would enjoy seeing them live. Not really the type of show I typically go to, though, since usually I go to singer-songwriter/indie or post-hardcore shows.

    38. What is you favorite song by 36?
    Everclear -- Summerland.

    39. What was the first song you ever heard by 28?

Panic! at the Disco -- New Perspective.

    46. Is there a song by 9 that makes you happy?

    47. What is your favorite album by 4?
Brand New -- The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me or Deja Entendu, they're so different it's a bit hard to choose.

    48. Who is a favorite member of 37?
    Se7en -- The only member of Se7en is...Se7en, so...

    49. What is the first song you ever heard by 43?
As Tall As Lions -- Love, Love, Love (Love, Love) or Ghost of York, one of the two.

    50. How many albums do you own by 20?
Copeland -- I don't have physical copies of any.

    Smile For Them.

No, I don't listen to Fiona Apple all that much.

  • you'll always be my thunder -- a top 50 survey

    Lug 2 2008, 8:17

    01. What's your favorite song by 15?
Straylight Run -- Either Soon We'll Be Living In The Future or It's Everybody's Fault But Mine.

    02. How did you get into 20?
New Found Glory -- I'm not quite positive, but I think I heard Head on Collision on MTV or something and then I bought Sticks and Stones.

    03. Who is your favorite member in 1?
Taking Back Sunday -- Adam Lazzara. He's spunky. ^_^

    04. Whats your favorite lyric bit by 29?
The Academy Is... -- "Hold on, you haven't heard the best yet
He writes good storylines, he's got those honest eyes
So take him home for just $9.95
He'll sing the songs you like, he'll keep you warm at night"

    05. Have you ever seen 22 live?
Cute Is What We Aim For -- Unfortunately, no. =[

    06. What's your favorite album from 10?
    Fuel -- Sunburn.

    07. Do you own any merchandise from 3?
Brand New -- Durrrh. I have two of their CDs, a FIGHTOFFYOURDEMONS tote bag, their last tour t-shirt, their limited edition hoodie, and at least four other t-shirts.

    08. What is a good memory you have of 7?
Anberlin -- Not so much of them per se, but just being at one of my last parties in Maryland at Kyle's house (the last time I saw Audi, Bryan, Evan, and Taylor.) and hearing A Day Late playing in the background with a couple people singing along.

    09. Is there a member of the same age as you in 2?
Bright Eyes -- Well, I think the only real consistent member is Conor Oberst and he's ten years older than me.

    10. When did you first get into 8?
Fall Out Boy -- I dunno, some time a bit after Take This to Your Grave came out. Old school FOB = love.

    11. Who likes 4 along with you?
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus -- Erm, Jon? Tori? A whole bunch of other random people I used to go to school with? Oh, and Ashleigh, I got her into them.

    12. Which song did you first hear from 16?
    Se7en -- 열정.

    13. What song made you fall in love with 5?
All Time Low -- Running from Lions. It's such a good song. I also really loved Jasey Rae. I heard all of Put Up or Shut Up one night in my friend, Bryan's, car and was instantly hooked on ATL.

    14. Which song do you not like by 18?
The Spill Canvas -- There isn't one I actually dislike, but I'm not particularly fond of Your Evil Soul.

    15. Why do like 14's songs?
Saosin -- They're just passionate and a lot of them are really high energy.

    16. Where did you first hear 6?
Cartel -- I think I looked them up on MySpace because Jon had been scrobbling Burn This City nonstop.

    17. How long was 19 a singer before you liked them?
Senses Fail -- This is kind of a dumb question. I started listening to them after they released the From The Depths Of Dreams EP, but I'm sure Buddy Nielson had been singing way before then.

    18. Does 13 have a song that gives you a bad memory?
Paramore -- Yeah, Conspiracy does a bit.

    19. When did you get into 17?

Mayday Parade -- Not all that long, a year tops.

    21. If 11 had a concert 300 miles away, would you drive there to see them?
Good Charlotte -- No way. I used to like them so much better than I do now.

    22. How many CDs do you own of 12?

    26. What's the last song you've listened to from 28?
The Rocket Summer -- So Much Love.

    29. Is there a song you are sick of hearing by 24?
Say Anything -- Not really, no.

    30. What song got you into 40?
Anti-Flag -- It was actually two songs my ex-boyfriend, Joe, told me listen to. Back when we first started talking in middle school, he told me to listen to Culture Revolution and Angry, Young, and Poor to make my music taste better, haha.

    31. What is your favorite single by 25?
The Used -- If by single, you literally mean single and not just song (as in something released for radio play), then it would be I Caught Fire.

    32. If 49 hated you, what would you do?
Hawthorne Heights -- Probably wonder what I managed to do to make an entire band hate me. Yup, that sounds about right.

    33. What would you say if 42 or one of the members from 42 asked you out?
Dingus - Considering the fact that this is a band from the Baltimore local scene and that the lead singer and I are currently on irreparably bad terms due to some relations, I don't see that happening.

Armor for Sleep -- For all I know, every member in AFS has a girlfriend.

    35. Who has the best voice in 46?
    Underoath -- Aaron Gilespie.

    36. Do you think 26 is/are good looking?
Yellowcard -- I actually find both Ryan Key and Sean Mackin good looking, even if Ryan is a little on the awkward side. I can't recall the other members' attractiveness.

Family Force 5 -- Luv Addict: 60 times.

    38. How many CDs do you own of 30?
Kill Hannah -- Two, a signed promo EP and Until There's Nothing Left Of Us.

    39. Is there a song from 38 that makes you mad?
Red Hot Chili Peppers -- No.

    40. Which member from 31 do you want to see go solo? If 31 is only one artist, what would you do if they joined a group?
Hit the Lights -- I don't think there'd be a purpose for anyone in that band to go solo.

    41. What does your favorite song from 48 remind you of?
Forever the Sickest Kids -- Believe Me, I'm Lying: not much really, just hanging out in bars.

    42. Did you hate 43 at first?
Everclear -- Definitely not. I first heard them when I was around seven or eight, and I liked I Will Buy You A New Life then just like I do now.

    43. Does your best friend also listen to 33?
Halifax -- No way. I don't even know if any of my friends have heard of them.

Panic! at the Disco -- Not really.

The Pierces -- I'm impartial, it's just their last name.

    48. Is there someone in 45 that you want to go out with?
Hollywood Undead -- No, thanks. They're totally out slutting it up and I'm not down with getting the clap.

    49. Do you know anyone that hates 39?
Chiodos -- I know I've heard people I know say they hate them, but I can't remember who. I can see that, though, they're an acquired taste.

    50. Have you ever danced to a song from 35?
Rilo Kiley -- Sort of. At the concert I went to, everyone kind of danced when they performed Breakin' Up.

    Sort By Song Title:

-First Song: "Is This My Fate?" He Asked Them.
    -Last Song: Zoot Suit Riot.

    Sort By Time:

-Shortest Song: The shortest that I actually consider to still be a song (versus intro, foreword, etc.) is Ashita, tenki ni naare.
-Longest Song: Excluding songs that are simply long because they include hidden tracks, Castles In The Sky.

    Sort By Album:

    -First album: #1
-Last album: It told me 雅-みやびうた-歌~独奏~, but I think it's really probably because that's in Japanese, so skipping Zoot Suit Riot because it already got last song, it will be Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!.
