Linkin Park present Projekt Revolution 2008

Date: 28 Jun 2008
Time: 5:00-11:30pm
Venue: LTU-Arena, Düsseldorf, Germany
Companions: FireCurse, ghettoghetto and two other friends
Driving time: 7:30-10:30am
So we were then at the end of the first queue with some amusements (queue-jumpers being sent away by security). So if someone of you saw us - hello! :)

Supporting Bands:
Innerpartysystem (5:00-5:30pm)
Were okay. Not as powerful as their "non-lives", but Don't Stop was still good.
The Bravery (5:45-6:10pm)
Boring. But that was predictable, though I don't like their genre and didn't know them before.
The Used (6:30-7:00pm)
Not bad. Really. First entertaining supporters. Bringing some vibes into the hall.
N*E*R*D (7:40-8:10pm; 20 minutes of delay)
Yeah, that was quite fun. They involved the crowd, taking some girls on stage to dance.
HIM (8:30-9:20; 10 minutes of delay)
Ville Valo made kind of just chillin' by being on drugs. The smoking of cigarettes on stage was a bit embarrassing. It was a keen show. Not too bad. Join Me In Death really was the best there. The crowd was screaming and seemed to be going crazy. Why...

Linkin Park (9:50-11:30pm; 10 minutes of delay)

08. In Pieces
09. Numb
10. Pushing Me Away
11. Breaking the Habit

19. A Place for My Head
20. Faint
21. One Step Closer

The highlight of the day, of course. It was very gorgeous to see my people live there on stage. Funny to see Chester Bennington jumping to give some action. Biggest surprise was the coolness of Brad Delson. I admire him for that. Also cool was Germany's flag hanging at Mike Shinoda's keyboard and Chester's comment on the UEFA Euro final: "Spain's got nothing.". Unfortunately, they had something mysterious. The songs were well chosen, but I missed From the Inside.

The gig of the supporters made the whole event a bit lengthy, but in the end (it doesn't even matter xD) it had its worth, though I saw not much from the tribune. Standing in front would've been too exhausting (with that heat being thirsty and hungry), thus I will stand as near as I will be able to, if Linkin Park have their own concert next time in the region of Hanover.

Nice! Thx for video-link :) But I've gotta say the supporters were not as bad as you say ^^
