Thanks Hayden! :) I'll check those out. I did dabble a bit in FTA and I think I dig them so far. Interesting album covers! HOLY SHIT o.O have you checked out Vader's newest 2014 album?! (New fan now).

Hey, just off hand, what is some of your favorite industrial? I've been scoping that out lately out of curiosity, which my library is lacking in. I think you dug Author & Punisher when I played it in plug one time. I'm not too into 80s sounding stuff like Skinny Puppy, but I'm not sure it's safe to rule out all 80s necessarily either. My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult is alright for a few tracks, but damn, full albums of theirs really draaaaaaag - they don't mix it up nearly enough and the beats are too simplistic and sound too similar in almost all songs. I like Pigface. I like some bm industrial like Dødheimsgard's album 666 International <3. Norwegian Shining is great to me. I showed you Batillus before, which is only a touch of industrial, but still.

oh the shoutbox is back :D yay! How are you doing? I can't tell which Diskord I like the best yet, on first brash reaction I'd say everything I've heard seems consistent with each other, but I may just need to analyze it a little more carefully. Which do you think is the best? LOL I love their album covers :). They're so colorful and lively.

Touching on the subject discussed in the group couple of days ago. This might interest you.The abstract seems to concisely explain origin and migration of Gypsies.

Maybe more kind than you are (depending on what's perceived as kindness anyhow), but I'm not sure how I would measure intelligence and I couldn't give a shit less. I wish I was less intelligent sometimes, because I'm constantly thinking about myself, the future and literally about everything.

  • Slargrave

Hell yes, pls discuss with me your thoughts and experiences (whenever you have the time, of course, I'm very patient as I'm currently working 40 hour weeks at the hospital where it's somewhat helping me in creating small talk at the very least, I still suck at coming up with conversation topics tbh). Honestly, slight reservation isn't a problem, I'm not even sure how to describe myself. I guess you'd have to be around me to understand my perceptions, and my reactions to certain situations. I've met someone at work who's really great, he's super into heavy music (The Contortionist is his favourite band), but he's way more outgoing than I am. Like he literally talks to everyone and always has people laughing, and I hate comparing myself to others but sometimes I wish I was more like that.

You've always struck me as a quiet, but incredibly intelligent fellow, it seems as though whenever you have to say something it's very well-constructed and thought out, and you're always a pleasure to speak with. Am I right, or am I SUPER right? :D But seriously dude, I highly recommend scheduling a doctor's appointment as soon as you can and filling him/her in on the details such as: what causes you to become anxious, how often do you experience this anxiety, how severe is your anxiety (like is it causing you to miss out on socializing and living life to the fullest), etc. I'm actually considering seeing a psychologist, I'd like to find the root of my anxiety and eventually be capable of handling it without any assistance. Anyway, if you're ever up to discussing it, I'm always a friend, cheers!

I'm currently on Paxil and Trazodone, I may change up my Paxil prescription within the next month or so because I feel as though it's not helping me as much as it could, you know? Though I'm still doing much better than if I wasn't on anything at all. Ah, I see, I should get back into that routine, though once my next paycheck comes through I might splurge and buy a portable hard drive for music as well.

Honestly, I can safely say I'm much better at this point in my life than I have been in quite a while, I'm much more confident and sure of myself, I'm able to genuinely laugh and my anxiety is becoming less present as time progresses (and my medicine may be to thank as well, fuck my genetics tbh). Also how are you able to listen to all this music? Do you download to your hard drive or what? I'm always too lazy to download :\\ haha

Had a chance to listen to Pale Communion yet? I'm genuinely totally surprised by how much I'm enjoying this album. Instrumentally it sounds to me like a slightly softer version of Ghost Reveries minus the harsh vocals which is pretty great IMO. Even 'Cusp of Eternity' grew on me and I didn't like that song at all when it was first released.

Has nothing to do with you Hayden, just a few idiots that annoy me to death (including ryan/alice). This isn't a permanent decision though. I'm also looking for a job currently, so I need to stay more focused on that, I swear I have no self control LOL.

7 H.Target has been great! at first I thought they were some drum-machine/cyber-slam band, it turns out they were the complete opposite, with natural drums, really heavy organic sound, etc, they definitely have the experimental side with textured samples and unusual grooves, not really any huge differences between albums, but they're all pretty consistent, I actually listen to them a lot when I read, one of the reasons why I have so many plays ;-)

Yeah well, like I said, I'll let you know, I just need some healthy time off anyway. I'm still not sure about Br. Assault either, depends if two of my friends will go, for different reasons. I haven't been to a bigger show for quite some time now, last time it was King Diamond in the previous year, I think.

Hi Hayden, looong time no talky. Have you listened to this yet?: http://www.last.fm/music/Jules+Julio+Martinez. If you want a link let me know, I had a terrible time finding it. Münchausen is like someone mixed instrumental Meshuggah with Niechęć, and Les Claypool smoked meth and then grabbed his bass and then made Scale the Summit, Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, and a marching band collaborate. The EP gets better as it trucks along. Cheers dude.

Checking out DaCast's demo... Dedále was unorthodox, but that was kinda expected with its concept. This one's weird as fuck, including some elements that are almost nu metallish but that somehow end up working with the rest of the music.

I am wondering what you think of London, as a native living rurally, It doesn't do much for me, give me hills and the sea anyday. I went up for Wovenhand last Monday, and I just can't stand it.

I'm really liking Montana. The people are really nice and positive and there's lots of beautiful scenery. Kinda the place I've always wanted to visit, and I finally made it! Question - are you familliar with any good record stores in Montana? I'd definately want to support the local business while I'm here.

That was fun :). Can't say it would make my top list though. Glad you're digging Svffer along with me. I have to point out this insanely good 90s heavy crust band Damad. It has to be one of the best 90s crust bands to exist, and female-fronted. She uses many different vocal techniques throughout that album.
