So after a couple years of people telling me I should get back to writing about music or at least to blog something, I have launched like rain whispers mist.

One of my major hang ups about writing about music is the fact that many readers will never hear what one is writing about. Furthermore, because often a reader has no concept of who a writer is nor their personal tastes, the projected opinions and ideas in a piece are often worth little more than the individual pixels or newsprint in front of them.

But since I have found a way to let people hear music without providing it in a portable format, a blog has been born.

With like rain whispers mist I plan on doing new and old stuff almost exclusively jazz related and requests are more than welcome. The idea is to provide a way for people to hear, see, and red about the music I love so dear and hopefully this place goes a way towards doing that. It's meant to be inclusive more so than exclusive like many blogs are.

A note, I will not provide albums for download because I do not want to provide music illegally, even if out of print. Hence the use of a beautiful find in Media Master and their widget capability. It provides a high quality stream straight from my music collection.

I have created a group here at Last FM as a sister page for discussions, requests, comments, etcetera etcetera. If your interested in joining, follow this link.

    Comments always welcome.
