no satan worship or car collection? no matter, as your predilection towards Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven, Ella, etc. shows enlightenment & cultivation rare in this world...thanks for the nice shout, by the way...

I now have not one, not two, but three new lists of music pedantry for the people to peruse!

Verily, it is like wearing the highschool torn denim and flannel shirts all over again. I'm contemplating seeing them at the Way Out West festival in Gothenburg.

This is not an audiobook, just mainly music from the series. I'm also going to be watching some Jeeves & Wooster episodes tonight to ensure myself a good healthy Wodehousean overdose.

Excellent taste. I can only imagine that you're British... in order to justify your misanthropy with 'culture'.

Glad to have introduced you to "Play it Safe" .. I think it stands with the best work of Pinter and Beckett. It kills me that I can't find out any more about this than what was on the WFMU blog. I would love just to see what those two look like. To think, three more volume exist! THE HOLY GRAIL!

I found this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NF7IOlIjgBY I can't think of anything else that isn't a foreign import. There are hundreds of other Christmas carols, but they are sung in remote mountain villages by old women with whiskers wearing black shawls and men with leathery faces leaning on wooden walking sticks. They involve the baby Jesus eating smoked ham and whatnot.

Bing Crosby? Or little children singing Portuguese versions of traditional American Christmas standards. I can't think of anything else, I should go hang out in a mall with a notepad.

I spent several hours yesterday listening to 'music tagged Christmas'. With that in mind, I am not sure High compatibility with my thingie is a sign of coolness at all.

Frankly, my dear... I'm happy that someone else likes it, too. :) Makes the fiscal sacrifice of buying records that much more acceptable. Although the real killer these days is lack of space in my tiny apartment.

Say, how do you like my new picture that quite accidentally resembles an Isaac Hayes album cover? I decided against wearing all my bling so that people can tell us apart.

Great that you're listening to Dido & Aeneas - I was singing in it at the weekend (2nd witch!)

I, like Alan Rickman, do not play villains. I play very interesting people.
