Too metalcore, but it's not bad for metalcore.

I know! It's insane! Edge of Sanity is one of the greatest bands ever and they're hardly known! No one talks about Crimson! It's sad! Crimson II is almost as good, by the way. No Åkerfeldt but still great, great stuff. It's split up into a bunch of little tracks so it helps scrobble more realistically, it offsets Crimson being a 40 minute track.

I wish I could go up to Canada to see them again, that was absolutely brilliant. Easily the best show I've seen, although Umphrey's McGee was great too. I was right up infront of Wesley. :) I keep moving the amp by him so I could see better, hah. I was part of the first ten people in line, too. And I was first in line to get my stuff signed by the band!

I'm a big King's X fan. :) Too bad about the other songs... anything is great, though. Apparently they're great live, I'd show up and bring a book.

Oh my god, FUCK YES. Oh hey! I just noticed we're both going to the same show. (Wait, is that how we met?) I thought they weren't going to play anything earlier than Deadwing, but this is excellent! Only five days now... :D

Haha, well, I used to study musical theory but I learned more by myself than paying for a lazy professor who only listens to AC/DC and Led Zeppelin xD. I'm gonna check more crazy jazz albums with modern musicians when I could: I don't know what the hell is going on with my last.fm software but it's not scrobbling since yesterday night -.- at first I thought it was because of the site maintenance, but no!... it's only me :( let's see if I can fix that :B

Yeah, I didn't explore the jazz terrain a lot but "Out To Lunch!" has a great sound and it's my favourite kind of jazz (avant-garde :D). Have you got any recommendations? I've already listened to these albums and really liked it (see the 4-5 stars rank xD) and someday I wish to learn everything about jazz theory 8-)

Ah, sounds good. I can send you the files (I'll host them on my webserver) if you want the music but don't care about getting it from What (I have FLAC from What, I can transcode to 320/V0/V2 if you want).

I haven't listened to any of the staff picks, heh, but I downloaded them all. And yeah, I have ~20 uploads with no upload credit at all. You just gotta put them up and hope someone will grab them eventually; it's the completeness and availability that counts. Eventually someone somewhere will grab it. If a week or so goes by and no one grabs them (very likely), I'll snatch them from you to help your ratio. And, Stream of Passion is more... symphonic/gothic, I guess, but Ayreon plays the music on the first album, but it's a Mexican singer, and she has an amazing voice (she was "Wife" on The Human Equation), so that's really my interest in it, a bit different than normal progressive metal. My copy of The Incident just arrived, heh.

Not at all, heh. I'm going through an extreme metal phase lately. Although this Stream of Passion stuff is amazing; progressive metal will always be a staple. Sorry mate.

Haha, the same exact thing happens to me. It was obvious that you were joking but if they're not sure then why don't they just see your charts. Seriously. >_>
