Wed 27 Oct – Eisley, Christie Dupree, Ives The Band
the red room is a real small venue, therefore it was quite an intimate show. Christie Dupree
was okay, basically just her playing acoustic guitar and her brother playing harmonies on the electric guitar. Sound similar to eisley. Ives The Band
, really managed to bring the atmosphere up. telling everybody to stand up because most of the people were sitting on the floor, enjoying Christie's soft music. Ives the band, was quite good, really pumped up my adrenaline for Eisley's performance.
some time past 9pm, Ives the band left the stage. i was quite worried that Eisley
would just played a short set.
but when i saw their setlist, i was relieved. there were 19 songs.
i was up real close, and i was caught off guard by how pretty they look.. LOL
they played my favorite songs of theirs, so i was quite happy ~ which included Invasion, Ten Cent Blues, Telescope Eyes, I Wasn't Prepared, Brightly Wound, Golly Sandra, Ambulance
they played 2 new songs on the set, Please be Kind and Sad
I like Sad better
Can't wait for their new album to come out soon.
i was lucky enough to get the pick which Sherri had been playing the whole evening. =]
here is the setlist for the night:
