Yes, still very active. Making music has been slow, so only a few compilations tracks has been released lately. But a new split LP (with Northaunt) will come out in December. Also working on a new album and some collabs. Also play a few concerts each year. :)

Cool. I'll look into it this weekend or something.

I'm not, but I'm thinking about joining since it's depressing how many of my uploads to what don't get snatches. It used to be inevitable that each of my rips would get at least a few seedboxes grabbing it, but I guess they've stopped doing that.

No problem. Would it help if I started posting 16-bits again or would you not grab them? I stopped posting them because no one was grabbing most of them :(

Hey! If you mean Grand Mal: Studio Rarites, there's no "lossless" version, per se. It was created and released as 320kbps MP3s, much of it sourced from leaked rarities that were even lossier. We did our best to maintain and improve the overall sound quality with what we had. If your intention is to find the earliest generations of unreleased Elliott material, they can maybe help you over on the Alphabet Town message board. I know there was a single zip file of earliest available generations of most of the rarities, but the version I have is outdated by a few years.

My deepest regrets for losing touch - I did not acquire that C93 release we discussed, largely due to laziness, somewhat due to commercial holiday jibberish. I intend to soon.

I don't mean to spoil anything, but... http://www.metalsucks.net/2012/10/03/a-final-vestige-for-daylight-dies/#disqus_thread This is just utterly brilliant

:) Thanks. Well, I generally like progressive rock/metal in a pretty broad sense the most (simply because it has a lot of things that I enjoy in music), but I'm really kinda open for a lot of things. Yeah, I'm really curious about it. I enjoyed ADHD a lot, although I have to admit in the long term it has aged a little worse than I'd expected, and it was also a different kind of "heavy" than I'd expected, but still it's a very good album imo. No idea what are they going to do on the new album, but even looking at the EP I guess it's going to be something different again.

On the topic of collector's items, I'm actually not fond of collecting vinyls or records or anything like that - I get them because it's something I legitimately want to put to use and have. Should I want to discard it, I do exactly that, for free to friends or sometimes to people via internet. The whole eBay phenomena escapes me: what good is it to me to part with something beloved for money that I used money to obtain in the first place? Having a godly piece of work like Shadows of the Sun is only good to me because I can use it as a medium to listen to the music. The article might hold some value but the fact of the matter is that materialism is as good as dead with the advent of the internet
