Right on man. I've scrobbled a lot more music in the past couple of years than ever before. I guess that's what happens when you're suddenly single again and can blast music around the clock. LOL Dengue Fever is great. I really dig the Khmer Rock sound, both old and new. Have you heard The Cambodian Space Project? Also excellent!

Hey T. Nooooo! I wasn't even aware anything new by Juliana was out. Damn! I will rustle it up and give it a listen. Hope you're doing well over there!

Thank You Trey. Never listened to the album "Kiln House" for some reason unknown to me. Post Peter Green, not on Rdio.com or Spotify, guess I just wrote it off. Some damn fine 50s-60s Rock, found it on Utube of course: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CZog3rTgqA

Thanks! Yeah, well ive been wanting to visit the midwest for a while now for my photography. Fantastic place I had a great time. I still want to get to Yellowstone though and attempt to trace some of Ansel Adams' steps! I see from your Twitter you are from Denver? We set off from there - great place!

The Stubborn Lovers opened for Lydia Loveless earlier this year. Just remembered that when I reopened Spotify to hear the Facebook song again.

LOL. I haven't gotten around to listening to the whole CD, but I think that song's hilarious. My favorite song today is "Give Old Hell" by The Stubborn Lovers (from Portland). The singer moved to Austin this summer, so I don't know what they'll sound like in the future, but that song is great IMHO.

Thanks for the Friends add. Beer drinking is an under-rated skill.

Ah, OK. I loved alternative radio in the '90s, although many of my favorite bands then, such as Dance Hall Crashers, were only on the air in Portland for a couple weeks, when they had new material. The '90s were my favorite era in music, until streaming music the past several years.

It's a great album. I used to own it. Just checked Amazon. It's out of print, which is a shame and a shock. I'll have to get it as mp3, for listening in the car. "Never Here" is my favorite song of theirs. Kudos to Go Betty Go for covering an out-of-print song from 1995. It reached No. 10 on Billboard's alternative chart. Again, causing me to wonder what your were listening to .... :)

I've never really listened to Wire, but critics always said Elastica was very similar to Wire. Sent you the link to their debut album in Spotify. I'm really surprised you haven't heard them. Makes me question your listening habits in the '90s. ;)

I really like it. I listened to it three times in a row first thing this morning, and then a little more later in the afternoon. I'm so dense, I didn't catch on until the second or third listen that "Stutter" is a cover of the Elastica song. They did a nice job with it.
