nice collection of death, thrash and traditional. Deicide, music's ok but Benton is a dickhead, imo.

Thanks, I do like yours too! Btw, I need to admit I haven't listened to some good music ( = death metal bands) recently, but my excuse is I didn't have any opportunity to do so (no access to computer). Anyway, I just must catch up immediately! Hey, besides what's new in 'death metal world'? Any new, interesting albums?

The Sparrow is one of the most beautiful metal ballads I've ever heard. Plus I love the artwork which accompanies their albums. The show must've had great visuals.

Hey, nice taste of music! I can recommend Letters From The Colony for you if you are a fan of bands like Lamb of God. They just released their first EP. It contains 5 songs and is available to download for free here at last.fm :) The songs totally kicks ass and you should definitely check them out! download here: http://www.last.fm/music/Letters+From+The+Colony/Letters+From+The+Colony

Yeah thats true and I am so excited for opeth :P I haven`t seen them live yet even though i`ve been listening for like 5 years and its really cool because I live in Guelph, so finally I wont have to travel all the way to Toronto for a show :P

Yeah they'll be in Cleveland this March with Abigail Williams and Lecherous Nocturne. I'm beyond stoked to see Glen in the flesh man! He's actually a brilliant bassist!

The production value on that one is timeless. I especially love They Are The Children of The Underworld. Are you catching them on tour next year?

I love that record too! My personal favorite is without a doubt Legion though because of the songs "Repent to Die" and "Dead But Dreaming". I can't get over how relentless and heavy it was for that time period.

Arcade Fire is AMAZING!! Shut your face about them. Ya, I haven't been in the mood for extreme metal for a bit. I was just going through a phase. I'm sure it'll come back again soon.

Indeed, I really liked the Heaven 17 cover off Thornography xD & Foetus of a New Day Kicking is good too but apart from that =/ Yeah Godspeed is great, they've nailed what Dimmu have failed to do on their last album, mixing solid songs with orchestration. I think Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa is trying to go back to 'Cruelty...' era stuff which is one of my favourite Cradle albums :)

Heh heh, it's not trendy to like Cradle these days, is it? Then again when was it ever? I think they're a really good band though I can understand why people dislike them, Dani's vocals aren't always spot on. I think the only album I found a bit 'meh' was 'Thornography', I even liked 'Nymphetamine' :P What you do you reckon to their last couple of albums?
