I'm getting hooked on Spotify, though I only use it at work. Its nice to listen to full albums that I've been wanting to hear, but haven't bought. It's trying to make me a poorer man, but I'm holding on to my self-control...for now, haha. I do love how easy it is to share playlists, too.

Yeah, working definitely sucks but it is necessary. There are essentially no "entry" level (aka 4 year degree = experience type job) jobs out there for me. It is disheartening to say the least, but time will hopefully help. It is funny how quickly you mature and grow up after graduation. It feels good actually having time to sort things out like budgeting, for instance, which I have probably saved more in the past two months than I did throughout my whole academic career lol. Regardless of our majors, it appears we are in the same boat. That realization is kind of a downer to me because I thought accounting was a lock as far as after graduation jobs go. Instead I could have gone to UNC (per my first year English instructor), enjoyed my major and my time in college and still be in the same boat. Oh well LOL. And Mad Men - I am glad they agreed, but disappointed in AMC and how they tried to wring out Weiner.

I'm not exactly sure how much Cornell's tickets were, but all the shows sold out on the first day. I imagine they were priced more of the "higher" side of the spectrum rather than being like 10-20 bucks a pop. But whatever. I don't even want to work anymore - much less find a "new" job/career. I wish I could get like a $300,000 advance to write a book or make an album. Anyway, I majored in Accounting with a minor in CIS. A lot of the accounting jobs are leaning more towards experience over education, at least in my locality. I've thought about moving away, but I'm not sure how I would do in a completely foreign place, much less have the capital to do so. What are you studying?

Damn $90 for a ticket. I would pay that much for a Cornell ticket and his Songbook tour tickets are probably more than that, though. So far, the highest I've paid for a ticket is like 70-80 bucks and that was B.B. King. But yeah, the job market sucks everywhere apparently. Unless I want to sell insurance, there is nothing. I'm starting to come to terms with how gullible I was in college and believing my professors/deans when they were just selling themselves. But yes, at least I have a job - though, I'm wondering how long I can last without losing my mind.

How is school going? Getting a job is always fun. I'm sure you can find something that fits those concert schedules :) What concerts are you wanting to go to this year? As for me, I graduated in December and am currently (still) looking for a job relevant to my education experience. At least I have the job I've had all the way through school :/

Ha, its been a long time since I posted journals and I just magically posted two within a couple days :) I am doing good. Going back to the school for the last time (for now) and working and staying busy. Trying to enjoy things as much as I can. I've been teaching myself how to play guitar for a couple months with varying results haha. What about you? How have you been?
