Ozzy in 2005 was nothing like how he was last year, last year he said he had a cold and then it started pouring with rain so he cut the length of the set by almost a half. But 2005 was great: I haven't gotten the new album either, I saw Total Guitar gave it 2* so I'm in no rush. I thought God Is Dead was pretty mediocre until about 6 minutes in then it's got a real groove to it. I expected the album to be good as Rick Rubin was putting it together.. but I'll have to get hold of it and listen through. Either way I won't be going to hear the new stuff anyway, I'd much prefer it if they just played through Paranoid and Master of Reality anyway!

Yea I made a spur of the moment purchase. Sabbath pulled out of Hellfest last year so I got to see "Ozzy and Friends" instead and Ozzy was awful but I knew I'd be pissed off come December if I hadn't bought tickets for this. I saw all of them as Black Sabbath in 2005 and that was fantastic so hopefully in December it'll be closer to that than what I went to last year.

I don't know if you enjoy them or not, but if you do, what's your opinion on the new Ghost album?

So, I assume you're more of a Doom Metal guy? Part of the reason I escaped the Doom/Stoner/Sludge side of things was prior to people taking certain sides. I always seem to see some guy chewing another ones ass apart about one having more Doom than some other genre, or that if you're gonna Doom fan you shouldn't listen to anything related to Stoner. On a small key note, you're a Black Sabbath fan(never been easy for me to get into), have you listened to any other their side projects? I specifically love The Move, it's a project built by a past member, Psychedelic Rock. If you're an Old School Psyche Rock fan you should listen to their album 'Shazam', it's an album that was well pieced together and a lot of the instrumentation seems well put together and just rings amazingly. You see my profile and see my taste, I guess part of the reason my taste is so segregated is prior to the genres I like, so you probably thought it was odd when some kid who listens to too much Indie shouted you. x)

Just a random, honestly. Heh. I seen you scrobbling Om at the time and the Horn Of The Rhino lead me to your page. Sounds good to me, I'm into a lot of Sludgy Doom Metal & Stoner Rock(my profile says different). I just get super picky about it, you a Truckfighters fan? If not, they're quite a Stoner Rock band, was introduced to them a year back.

We don't have anything in common at all really, but 'Horn Of The Rhino - Weight Of Coronation' is definitely my favorite album by HoTR. Probably the Gloomiest Metal I've gotten into, Doom Metal / Stoner Rock, I'm not sure, I just know they're fucking dope.
