GZ! I thought you might be interested... Abunai!'s '97 debut 'Universal Mind Decoder' has been remastered and reissued on Krauted Mind (Germany) with bonus early cassette demo jams. The vinyl comes as a 2LP gatefold package with red or blue vinyl. Free listening on Bandcamp, and the 2LP set is available from the Krauted Mind site.

Thanks for the add, you're blog was so amazing that I simply couldn't resist not adding you! I think I should talk with you for having one of your designs for a Drone/Noise project of mine someday

This is kind of a long shot but how did you get that David Lang/Kevin Shields album? I've been looking forever for it and I was wondering if this song was on it : http://www.wired.com/listening_post/2007/05/kevin_shields_v/. I've been obsessed with it for years and could never find a studio recording of it and always wondered if it was on that album.

Yeah it is. I just found it hard to convince people to check it out since it was a Fuck Buttons member. I really like Chenobyl a lot. Reminds me of Bardo Pond's Two Planes but just more grounded and electronic.

I shouldn't complain too much. I have a few tumblrs just for fun but I do have one music tumblr that I spend a lot of time on and take seriously. I do it to try and create a platform for music that I feel deserves to be heard. My dad was always a strong supporter of the arts, my sister is the director of and I used to do marketing for a museum so I kind of have it in my blood to help spread the word. Plus, I enjoy doing it.

I'm glad you dug that one. That album sealed my obsession with the band when I was younger. It's just so dynamic, intense, and performed so tightly. I can't wait for their show either. If you need something to mellow out with afterwards check out Michael Gira's Drainland. Same era but the songs are more minimal. I never get tired of the tracks Where Does Your Body Begin? and Blind. Also, I really liked The Soft Moon and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma. Couldn't find much Möthersky anywhere but I dug the flux video. Where can I get their stuff?

I'm sort of a jack of all trades. I've based my career around graphic/web design and content development but I've done marketing, product photography and more recently I've been studying more traditional fine art (painting, illustration, print making and some sculpture). Never really taken pictures of the things I've made but they tend to be pretty geometric. I don't really have much to show except for some digital illustrations and painting projects I've done for practice. I uploaded some to my G+ page. I really want to start making art for arts sake rather than to pay the bills though. Just have to find some time.

O, I thought they might be yours because the things you post are very consistent. Either way, nice blog. I very much enjoy that type of art. So you do installation/sculpture or assemblage or both? I try to make art when I have time which is never...haha

I've dug what I heard of White Ring, SALEM, Sun City Girls already but the rest of the artists I haven't heard yet. If you aren't exhausted from the Fuck Buttons hype from the past couple of years Blanck Mass was a nice side project. Swans-wise you have to download "Swans Are Dead". It's a great live album and the versions of Feel Happiness and Blood Promise are just staples in their catalog. Bardo Pond's Amanita is worth checking out as well. There's plenty of other stuff but I'm drawing a blank at the moment. Thanks again. I've been in a music rut so I'm definitely going to check those bands out.
