Are you enjoying Richard Herring's thing? I am, but he's chosen some fucking annoying people to interview. I love David Baddiel, and i'm oddly excited about hearing him with Stewart Lee again. (I saw Stewart a few weeks ago, it was disappointing, I felt really ill the whole way through + was on the front row + at the end he got really angry about the 'jungle rope bridges' in Scooby Doo and spat a large globule of mouth-foam onto my bare ankle. It was gross. Then me + my friend were stood by the back door and I said "do you want to go get something signed?" and she said "GOD NO" just as he walked out. He looked mad.)

I'm not even sure that what I have in synesthesia, but i've always related 'time' as a concept with colour, like whenever people say 'ok see you next week' it'll just come to me, not necessarily as a 'tone' or anything ominous like 'the old lady said she'd come and visit me and then I saw black and next thing I knew she got hit by a car". It's most prominent when i'm thinking back in time, like in decades, each decade has a MASSIVE clarity of colour to it, but in some ways it makes it harder to decipher between years within a decade which is why I find history quite difficult. but I think it has something to do with when I was taught really basic history when I was little + my mum used a coloured poster, it's always come to me that way, so it might not even be something inherent at all. Weird.

+ the one where the eyes are brown brown brown + "faded blue jean eyes yeah yeah yeah". I guess he recognises that certain colours hold universal tones + connotations. I.e. red = passion + rage, yellow = happiness + joy, and all the rest of the colours. Brown is a good one though. I'd go as far as saying that brown eyes are in my top five favourite things in the world. I've just always really liked them. I am unconvinced to whether you really are happy in your new home, but I hope that you are, and I hope that you find a place for your red armchair, and sit in it like a regal knight and laugh heartily at the times when you were not as happy. Did you have to move far far away?

I'm OK. I hope your move of home was all good and your new home is homely.

You mean in himself or in his music? I don't know how you'd tell. He makes a lot of references to colour I guess, eyes especially, which is pretty sense focused/ relating moods to colour a lot, but his music is so personal I kind of took it face down that everything was specific. 'Everything was blue-ooh-ooh-ooh-oooh'.I have it, with time though, not music.

Is Seinfeld worth watching? It's got nuff hype and shit. I'm nearly done with Twin Peaks now, it's good, but I don't really care about any of the characters at all. Everything i've seen by David Lynch has felt too smug for me to fully enjoy. The biggest of shames.

I get weirded out by spending money too, to an extent where it's just stupid. I'm OK with ordering stuff off the internet, or when I go out to purposefully buy something specific but the idea of 'going shopping!!!' makes me feel embarrassed. I've started buying CDs again though for that very reason of 'I just typed in some numbers and now I have this plastic case with paper and stuff, my o my, just when you think you've seen it all!!' apart from sometimes bands have thin cardboard cases instead of plastic ones, which while more economically and environmentally viable, is always a dissatisfaction. Fok natural resources, my CD rack looks messy. (Sigur Ros, ima lookin at you)

Hey Leestepher, soz roc for not reacting as one would expect at the news of your meeting with Phillip, I am finding it hard to function normally at the moment, i.e. forgetting to eat and sleep all the time, earlier on I watched a whole film whilst standing up, like, the chair was right there behind me, all comfy and welcoming, but I just kind of forgot to sit down, IS THIS NORMAL, good film though. I'm wonderfully reassured by your summary of the evening anyway, people were being very mean about his performance on the page of him on this website here, but I trust your opinion more than theirs, obviously. Was the musical disc which you have Phil a musical disc of your own musicals? Did you get his phone number? Did he call you yet? Do you think he's gonna pop the question? I'm so happy for you both.

My essay definitely wasn't aced, I showed the draft to my teacher and she shook her head at me and said 'you're an enigma' which I don't think is promising. I've pretty much said 'so long' to the possibility of going to university anyway, just going to put 'professional enigma' on my CV and apply for prime minister or something. YEAH I DID SEE YOUR MOUNT EERIE THING BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO COMMENT ON IT IN CASE YOUR FRIEND THOUGHT I WAS CREEPY, I hated it, it's awful, you suck, but you should know that i;m only saying these things out of jealousy and to distance myself from any genuine emotion.

I never had a pretty brown haired girlfriend, or a pretty brown haired boyfriend for that matter, but I try not to let this define me, I don't think that you should either, if you can help it, YOU ARE A ROCK, YOU ARE AN ISLAND, YOU TOUCH NO ONE AND NO ONE TOUCHES YOU (metaphorically, if you understand me). Christmas Lights is the best one for listening to and being all 'his life is basically my life, why does he get to sing songs about having a stupid life and I just have to sit here being reminded of it by other people'. The only worthwhile memory I have of this Christmas/ my 18th Birthday is lying face down on my rug listening to that song over and over and over and over (by 'worthwhile memory' I literally mean that nothing else happened, not in the way that people normally don't remember stuff from their 18th birthday)

WHAT, I haven't been able to watch the past four or so episodes of P&R because of my awful broadband, so your last shout means nothing to me, I AM SO DEPRIVED. Think i'm going to have to use school's broadband and just sit in the library catching up and being one of those annoying people who laugh purposefully loud to show everyone that they're so totes wild and crazy that they even know have a banterous time when they're in the library. TOM AND ANNE THOUGH, THANKS FOR DROPPING THEM EGGS.

It's possible 'treat yo self' could have slipped out somewhere but even then, how would you know that was from parks and rec if you hadn't seen it yet? HOW? I went into watching it with the pre-knowledge that the first two series 'drag on a little', and all the characters used to annoy me so much, now there isn't a single one of them who I dislike, NONE, NOT EVEN JERRY, actually maybe Anne, but she hardly even counts. How can you suggest that my dog is even a worthy contender for my minesweeping? He has been stuck on 'beginners' level for months! He doesn't even use logic, his whole game plan is based on gratuitous fortune, he will never be any help on a real minesweeping mission, whereas I could fish out those mines in a swift half hour. I AM SO DRIVEN. I have a 3500 word essay in for 9:00 tomorrow help bye
