theres so much amazing stuff i hear every year which isnt necesarilly carrying the stamp of "fresh out of press". you cant call any music "old" or "new"… theres is always an honest effort of getting some communication going, be it from yesterday or ancient, made with sticks and stones or hyperintelligent cybernetic breed of fungus.

i probably forgot a million awesome albums from 2006 which i havent yet been able to digest, lazy me. also half a year of absence from fresh downloading did its thing… anyways, im a bit tired so here it is:

as far as shows go, enjoyed quite a bit the ars electronica 06 "package" of performances: christian fennesz/phillip jeck as spire live in st.florian monastery cathedral, joe colley, matmos… went all metal with two nights of satyricon and some random metal shows, saw mono (the usual), due to being in a godforsaken place not much more tho… threw two performances as duo with buddy Mould2=OH, made shitloads of tracks and so on and so forth. hail 07! ;)
