Lotte Kestner - China Mountain - not my cup of tea at all; just another girl with guitar/keybd; certainly - charming as a person but charm is not reflected in the music; "Leif Erikson" re-work is nothing but an offence.
Marianne Faithfull - Before the Poison & Horses and High Heels - sorry, Marianne, but hardly stood until the end of the second album :(

Versus - On the Ones and the Threes - their last profile begins with: "New York City indie rock favorites.." so not a great surprise that I've never heard about them. 10 songs and only 'Cicada' as can be heard on "Limitless" movie is listenable.

Slovak Republic - Summer Pills - little splendour for this beautiful country …; 'sameness' is the key feature of those SR travels over so many different & interesting places- and listener's 'numbness' as result …
Warpaint - The Fool - On last the band is described like this : "The band weaves intricate guitar lines, hypnotic vocals, and driving post-punk rhythms into gorgeous, sprawling songs that skirt the line between the soundscapes of psychedelia and intimacy." DELETE key is applicable - on the above as well as on the album.
Band of Skulls - Baby Darling Doll Face Honey - similar to Dead Weather and The Black Keys???!! worst of the the first none of the second - that's for sure.

Surrounded - Oppenheimer and Woodstock - no idea where I've found that album … could stand 7 of 10 tracks; really bad.
The Slow Signal Fade - Steady - mediocrity really worth of the special note here; almost all the albums of this morning set were really bad ones - I saved a lot of precious space on my drive - Moccasin, The Eaves, Andalusia … just to name the few; but this one is apparently the worst of all!
The Victorian English Gentlemens Club - Bag of Meat - beware of long and stupid names - usually they promise NOTHING!
M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming - Apparently this entry will provoke similar comments as those gems below …. but … I can't believe that such musicmaking might be regarded as top achievement of 2011! First disc of this album is as bad as their previous "Saturday …"=Whatever. Only reaction is to delete the rest - but I will stand that and continue … (urgh…)
OK, survived, even my 'favourite' track from p. 2 called "Splendor" - yet another Epic Fail from this band, promise to myself not to waste any minute again.
Modeselektor - Monkeytown - hard to believe but this one is even worse than the above - much worse! Deleted at the spot!

Lyambiko - Sings Gershwin - the way she mistreats those wonderful songs is a criminal thing … at least she looks good on the cover; and that's all.
Machine Head - Unto the Locust - one of my favourite metal bands; makers of the one of the greatest debut albums ever …. sending a message that 'enough is enough' and time to think about stg else than musicmakeing - second-rate and really boring to the bones.
Wild Dogs In Winter - Homba - definition of what's generally wrong in the entire 'post-rock' concept - a model of boredom and very bad singing.
Karnivool - Sound Awake - better listen to the very source of inspiration - The Mars Volta first albums; still the best musical things from 'down-under' is Mr. Cave and his Company …
Murmansk - Eleven Eyes To Shade & Chinese Locks - sometimes they play quite well, but vocals - quite awful. And boring! Two albums in a row are hard to stand really!
The Mars Volta - Noctourniquet - I said "enough!" in the middle of the 3rd song; but survived that and the 4th and the next few ones … wasted 30 minutes at least! but next 25 saved for something better. Anything.
Handmade BirdsShiny Tiny Stars - 45 mins of boredom in "Overdose" (last track). The worst ideas from all those Sigur Ros imitators, with some really bad 'shoegaze' flavour.
MV & EE - Space Homestead - Where and HOW THE HELL did I get this album?! Such a waste of time … I simply hate such music-making …
Rush - Clockwork Angels - time to cease … First of all - to cease my experiments with subsequent new Rush albums, since they are too predictable, almost identical and far too boring; and for that once-upon-a-time-great-band - time to think about retirement. Enough, time to think more about your lasting reputation - less about the income.

Mission of Burma - Unsound - never liked those guys … since heard the for the first time 20 yrs ago; nothing changed - fully forgettable.
Kyte - Love to Be Lost - it rings somewhere that these guys made nice tunes once …. maybe they still to but their vocalist is unbearable.
Ikon - The Esplanade Tapes Volume One - usually I'd not mind exact imitators of Joy Division at all .. condition: they'd be at least a little imaginative … these guys as just plagiarists.
Astrobrite - All The Stars Will Fall - precisely what the shoegaze '2012 should NOT be.
Heavenly Beat - Talent - WTF???!!! what "talent"? None noticed.
Band of Horses - Mirage Rock - another bad album; a pale shadow of the first two ones.
Steve Hackett - Genesis Revisited II - two other titles for that album come to mind at the end of the 1st disc … maybe "Genesis Parodied" or "Genesis Ridiculed"? No comments really.
Johnny Marr - The Messenger - … Johnny Marr - that one. The Legendary JM … Enough to listen to track 2 - "I Want The Heartbeat" - album in the nutshell. It's that bad.
