I know - crazy, huh? Then again, you do have a significantly larger database of music too. That might be a contributor to our zero compatibility in music. Despite that, I can still find some music by looking that we both like. I pretty much have zero music compatibility with everyone, so its not surprising to me.

It says you average 100 tracks a day. Assuming they average 4 minutes each, that's almost 7 hours a day, every day. That's quite a lot to listen to!

Mac, you are only the second person I have encountered that listens to Sigur Rós, and from the looks of it, you are much more acquainted with them than I. this makes me smile.

in reply to your prev msgs: WOW, trainjumping sounds mental!! i wana do that !!! hitchhiking is awesome too, but i did it with a friend for a month so it wasnt as scary, i imagine going alone would be terrifying.. what other free travel things can you do? im downloading all kinds of road movies, currently obsessed with the thought of being a drifter!! i'll throw my mobile into the grand canyon in a melodramatic gesture, and write my granma postcards from far off destinations. Ends & Means is, I quote, Aldous Huxley's mid 1930s Enquiry into the Nature of Ideals and into the Methods employed for their Realization, basically a hollistic critic on the state of the world and what he reckons can be done about all this shit. its pre-holocaust.. and it is so scary how accurate his predictions are :(

  • chronicplutonic is cool for lots of things.. meeting new people is one of them. its much better if they like the same bands..we form a bond ;) i havent been reading much non-fic at all since life is too hectic at the moment! but i will def check the Mind's I out. currently reading Kurt Vonnegut's sirens of titan, one of the most depressing authors ever; probs not a good idea for the winter hahah

awesome! thank you for the rec. i've noted it on my next-to-get list! right now in the middle of reading Hoftstadter's I am a Strange Loop and Brian Greene's Elegant Universe, im not sure i like Hoftstadter's diction but greene is really nice to read, although ive only just started both so i cant make a good judgment yet. also been deeply immersed in Aldous Huxley's Ends and Means. this book is a legend! :) where are you travelling next? i wish i was a wanderer with a weapon, lvl99

"It most likely has "Mac Davis" in my top listened-to artists. My name is Mac Davis, so that's little old me, not the '80s country star." this will never not be funny to me

Hi there!

I study physics, mathematics, and travel the world. In music I am partial to electronic sounds, philosophical lyrics, and piano.

If you'd like any of my music, just leave me a message and I'll share it with you. I have an authoritative Sigur Rós collection, a Muse discography, and a Moving Mountains discog.
