Tempted to click 'reset'

I use Last.fm mostly at work as background noise because I can't stand the silence of a packed waiting room full of miserable patients. But obviously I'm meant to be working whilst I'm at work so I just leave it playing my library- but this means that last.fm dictates my overall charts- there are some songs that it looks like I really like when actually I'm held captive to last.fm's whims. Grrr.

You can always remove the tracks you feel are misrepresented from your library rather than starting over. Another option: if you can, install the last.fm desktop client on your work compy. That way you can play last.fm through it rather than the web browser and use keyboard shortcuts to skip tracks you don't like. It also gives you the option to set a scrobble percentage, so if you set that to 100%, any track you didn't totally finish would not get scrobbled.
