Hey hows it going? Just felt in the mood to share, so I thought I would let you know i went and saw Ruthie live last night. It was the first time that I have seen her singing in the flesh and WOW was it good! She is so totally amazing, and has such a great rapport with the audience. I saw her at the Borderline in London and it was so small and intimate, making it even more unforgettable. You said you have seen her before - when and where was that? <3 the phenomenal Ruthie Foster <3

Okay sounds good :) erm don't know if u will like crosby loggines- its more 'pop'y than most things I like- I got the album when I saw him supporting Joe Bonamassa earlier this year and I quite like it, but my dad wasn't that interested. I wouldnt invest in it unless you don't mind a more mainstream pop/rock sound. You have a lot of Rory Mcleod in your library, and I must say I haven't heard of him... I will have a listen :)

well thats rubbish since I don't have any of those three free albums- i must get hold of them, i feel a birthday/christmas might be a plan to get them :) Neither do I own any Paul Rodgers solo stuff, so I shall be loking into this gap. errr im not sure about the orders of the bad company albums, but iv got Burnin' Sky, Rough Diamond, Straight Shooter and Live for the Music. Love them all lol, probs couldnt pick a favourite. I don't believe I have that Robin Trower album, though i have about six others. My dad might have it though as he has a lot of RT albums, I shall check :) And to my shame I have never got into SRV... Everyone recommends him to me, but I have never really connected with his music- it seems strange seeing as he seems to fit perfectly into my music taste :S Im sure some day I'll listen to something by him and be like "WOW what have I been missing?"

Wow I'm so jealous, she's amazing. And yeah, just love Paul Rogers and Free- though I only have Tons of Sobs, Highway, Heartbreaker, and a Greatest Hits. I have four Bad Company albums though, and I quite like those, even though Free was the best. "The Voice" indeed.

I don't know if you've seen it, but some of my favourite Ruthie Foster footage is on youtube from The Living Room NYC: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=d1TpeDQQ7mc&feature=related there's quite a few live songs up, and they're pretty great, if you're interested :)

heheh, already checked the myspace, loving her more and more :D Yeah I'm 17, I just happened to love a lot of the music my dad had around the house while I was growing up. It always sucks that people my own age don't appreciate/ have never heard of the greats like Free, Clapton, Ruthie. Anyway, I will definitely be recommending Benita.
