Went through to Rocking the Daisies. Did not go on Friday night. Only arrived at 15h00/16h00 on Saturday. Took my camera and took a bunch of pictures.
The festival itself was fun. Very similarly organised to last year's event using the same canopy. There were a lot more people this time round. There was also an interesting focus on making the fesitval "green". My only gripes were that there were less toilets but more people. And of course the wind...
Music wise I enjoyed The Beams (pics). There lead singer was very very energetic and they were a lot of fun to watch.
Cassette (pics) was also good to watch. Bought their CD after last year's event but was disappointed. For me they are defintely more a live band than a CD band.
The Dirty Skirts (pics) were also good as always. They were followed by Taxi Violence (pics) and others but I went to bed during Taxi Violence's set.
Following morning we eased into it in with The Restless Natives (pics). Also listened to good comedy and Boulevard Blues but by then the hangover had settled in and we left.
All in all a good night out with some good music!
