Sonisphere

Sonisphere - 8/10

It was pretty good, The camping part was a bit shit especially as there was nothing to do for 5 hours in the morning xD But it began with Telegraphs, an alternative band from Brighton, wandered in because they were the only band off, kicking off the festival pretty much. They were really good, except the bass overrode everything else 9/10. Next up were Taking Back Sunday, ever confirming the "Adam Lazzara is a dick" theory. Everything he does annoys me, the way he walks, the way he talks, and the way he acts on stage, it's so annoying as well, because TBS are one of my favourite bands of all time, and to have them be so poor :( Hopefully they'll be better tomorrow though 3/10 Rushed over to main stage 2 (named Saturn Stage) to see the fairy awesome Bjorn Again, they really were amazing, soloing with teeth, circle/mosh pits, Metallica covers, possibly my favourite band of the entire festival 10/10

Over to the tent again for the fairly awesome band from Derry, Northern Ireland, Fighting With Wire, it was either The Used, or FWW, I have to say that I think I chose right, even without vocals for the first one and a half songs it sounded great, even with my friend wanting to leave, he was won over by the time that the vocals finally came in! 9/10 Stayed in the tent for my favourite band of the moment, the fantastic quartet from Scotland Twin Atlantic, drawing in the biggest crowd until that point for Bohemia, easily on a par with Bjorn Again, new song "You're Turning Into John Wayne" was fantastic too!! Tried to get a poster down at the end of the weekend but it kept ripping, and couldn't be bothered to try and get it past security either 10/10. It was now that the rain came, after wondering around for half an hour we decided it was best to go back to the tent to watch Flood of Red, "Scottish Brothers" with Twin Atlantic they played a fairly good set, even after running out of time 7/10

It was time for the headliners now, Bullet For My Valentine played first, and to be honest, I wasn't really impressed, it could be that I only really knew Tears Don't Fall but, as FWW explained, you don't have to be called mother fuckers every 5 seconds! 5/10 So, final band of Saturday was Linkin Park, they were average, I don't know what it was, they just didn't really ever get going, the break in the middle where Death By Sunrise played wasn't welcomed by anybody in the crowd either. 6/10

Afterwards it was back to the tent for Thunder's last ever gig! And it really was fantastic! Even though I didn't know any Thunder songs they were great with the crowd, something LP failed to be. 9.5/10

Day 2 (you can stop reading now (if anybody bothered to read this far!)) - Started with Buckcherry, I'd never heard them but they were somebody I'd read about in Kerrang! and therefore thought they'd be a bit shit, but I was so wrong, they were great, front man managed to be arrogant without being Lazzarised 8/10 It was time for the Welsh to play Attack! Attack! first! They were really good, again, hadn't heard much of their stuff, but they blew me away, very much an improved cross between PATD and FoB 9/10. Then FEEDER! Another one of my favourite bands, singing every word was alot of fun! They had the biggest sing-a-longs of the entire festival (that I heard) I'd lost my mate by this point, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing 10/10

Wondered around for a while now trying to find my friend (it turned out he was at the barrier of main stage 2 and didn't want to move for losing his place for Avenged Sevenfold). In the end I caught parts of Sharks who weren't great 5/10 and Little London, who reminded me of the band at the start of school of rock 5/10 in the end caught Zebrahead, even though they took forever to start up they had the most bouncy crowd that I remembered 7.5/10 (I needed to hear more of them)

Then it was run around trying to find my friend time and we were off as Metallica came on stage… :D (if anybody actually read that I thank you xD)
