Waah! Man, I just had the best night of music. Went to the Bowery Ballroom and saw the ever awesome Five O'Clock Heroes
and White Rose Movement
play a kick ass show. I never stopped dancing. From the moment I walked into the place, my head was banging, Chucks stomping the ground at the electric beats of the indie rock opening act (NY natives) Foreign Islands (http://www.foreignislands.com/index.html
) so much that I spilt my freakin drink on myself.
Check out tracks "Ghost Story" and "Fine Dining w/the Future" from their debut self titled EP.
Five O'Clock Heroes wowed my freaking arse off from the bat, slamming into White Girls
and Head Games
with so much force I couldn't help but dance my pants off. Seriously, stuffed up black girl danced like a maniac and couldn't resist yelling drunkenly at the front man and lead guitarist (I'm pretty sure he knows he's hot and British, British and hot, but I had to tell him, you know?)....
And then White Rose Movement came and blew my freaking brains onto the floor where they got stomped on. I'm still a little tipsy, so forgive my crap attempt at describing just how cool these guys are. From Kick
to the explosive Girls In The Back
and everything inbetween, I didn't stop moving. By the time they were done, my back hurt, my feet throbbed, and my head buzzed.
Great show. Good night.
