Indeed. Yea, it seems like he would have just compiled some previous works or something, but apparently he is making new material. That guy is eternal. ACKK!! You are coming for TiPsgiving?!?! I must see you at some point then; I'm pretty sure I will be in town.

Right? I feel like there should be some form of recovery for any text whatsoever or an undo button that actually works properly on the internet. I thought you'd be surprised, because I too was not aware that Tom Waits was still making music. I'm hoping this CD will be awesomely Waitsy. Oh why thank you, I miss your presence in general! Guh, me too, if he comes to Austin/Houston and not GA, I am most certainly visiting you/Texas TiPsters in general.

So I didn't reply to your last shout because I essentially wrote you a novel, but then I tried to press "ctrl c" and being the technology illiterate psuedo-luddite that I am, I somehow erased the entire thing instead. Also being as lazy as I am, I didn't want to rewrite it because it just wouldn't be the same. But now I actually have important news that you may or may not know: Tom Waits is coming out with a new album! I suppose that is all.

Hey, I LOVE long shouts! We do have a lot of good music, but the entire scene was mostly in Athens which is like an hour and a half away from me. But there are still a lot of good acts that come, so I can't complain. I most definitely will!! Or if we just go to Austin because it's a pretty awesome place (we could just stop by at Magnolia Cafe to get some delicious banana pancakes at 4 AM). Ah, this makes more sense now; but it makes things very unfortunate for the laypeople who wish to see the acts there! Woah, I didn't even know there were free shows, that sounds pretty sweet if you get there early enough! Haha, well the lack of blood, sweat, and tears tells me that it is one of the tamer festivals, it sure sounds nice. Also, I just know saw the "some bands I've seen" side note, I love how you can say that nonchalantly even though you have seen essentially EVERYONE EVER, I am jealous, to say the least.

I am so jealous, I've heard that their show is great. Seriously, I can imagine that you get to see a lot of great shows; the music scene is great there! My family and I traveled there last year for HEALTH and Pocahaunted because they were both all ages (It's rare that anything awesome is all ages in GA.)! It's sad, but I know what you mean. That seems to be happening to a lot of festivals now. Sheesh do you have to pay extra for badges or something?

GAH! That is awesome! I heard the GIVERS are awesome live, I haven't gotten to see them yet though. That is basically one of the best festivals you could go to, you're so lucky that it's right near you.

NO WAY! Sheesh, I bet it was awesome. My brother got to meet him, but I wasn't there and it was quite tragic. You went to SXSW? That is so sweet, who all else was there? It really is. I can understand that, sometimes I get so annoyed with the music when I'm trying to focus that I do end up turning it off.

Why thank you! You're charts are awesome as well; I'm so excited that you like Deerhunter because I am in love with Bradford Cox! I have a ton of post-rock scrobbles just because a) I love post-rock and b) it makes the best homework-doin' music. I understand it, sometimes it just seems like there isn't enough time for music, but when you get back into it, it feels awesome.

I was listening to Radiohead a lot the other day, too! I don't think it showed up on here though. Haven't synced my ipod in a while. Hahahahaa today I listened to "Just Got to Be" by the Black Keys about 20 times in a row. I'm so sick of that song now. But I still love it! when it comes to pride......and other sinful matters.....hmmhmmmhmmmm :)
