Hello everyone! My name is Kaitlyn and I'm a metalhead through and through. I love death, thrash,folk and black metal. I also like indie music (but not in a hipster way) and some top 40 (but not much). I appreciate anyone who has true musical talent, regardless of the genre.
Some of favourite bands are Children of Bodom, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Finntroll, Arch Enemy, Eluveitie, Led Zeppelin, Our Lady Peace, Joanna Newsom, Slayer, Agalloch, Amon Amarth, Enslaved, Dimmu Borgir and many more.
Music truly is my life, as cliche as it sounds. It is my dream to be in a metal band. Angela Gossow is my idol, and Alexi Laiho is my true love, he just doesn't know it yet. There is rarely a time when I do not have music playing somewhere, and it is literally the thing that gets my up in the morning, as I have "The Beacon" by Enslaved as my alarm clock.
I'm Canadian, but living in Helsinki Finland for the music scene. I am looking forward to hearing all kind of Finnish metal! I also like movies, football, video games, baseball, snowboarding, going to concerts, and partying and hanging out with my friends.
Feel free to suggest any of your favourite music! I'm always looking for new bands to listen to.
