Another "best-day-of-my-life"-moment

Well, of course it's all about Europe, as usual :P

This time it was in Dalarna, Dalhalla to be accurate, that was the victim for thousands of fans to rock the night.

First there was the bustrip to get there. Four hours in a double-decked bus with a broken toilet and Svetlana, the busdriver, who was a bit too confident by the wheel… talkin' in the cellphone and stuff whilst going down curvy roads.
In Avesta we picked up a gang of skåningar and dalmasar, who had started to drink about three o'clock in the afternoon. (Now the time was around five.) Those guys were so much fun! Johan, Henke, Micke, Danne, Ola and some other guy who I can't remember the name of. Good god, they were drunk. Especially Micke. After jumpin' around singing, screaming and talking to me and Ida for about an half an hour, he fell asleep on the floor.

Danne gave me and Ida a beer each.
"Or are you still only sixteen years old?"
"No, no. We're eighteen now." :D

When we finally got to Dalhalla the place were cookin'. I bought earplugs, since we were sitting on row five. We found our seats just when Stereolith started singing. They started for Europe at Hovet too.
So Stereolith played for like an half an hour or so, and then they rigged the stage for another half an hour, until it finally was Europe 's turn to enter the stage.

They started of with Love Is Not The Enemy and after that it was just non-stop party for two hours.

Setlist:
Love is Not the Enemy
Always the Pretenders
Superstitious
Seven Doors Hotel
Let the Children Play
Time Has Come (!)
The Getaway Plan
Bass Solo
Flames (in which huge bonfires ignited along the rocky outcrops)
Brave And Beautiful Soul
Carrie
Open Your Heart
Scream of Anger (!!!)
Guitar Solo
Girl from Lebanon
Start From the Dark
Yesterdays News
Rock the Night

ENCORES:
Ready Or Not
Cherokee
and of course
The Final Countdown

I was the best. Totally and definitely the best. And, as Telisvas said on the forum, "the best band deserves the best fans", Ida and I was standing up the whole time, dancing, singing, headbanging and waving our arms of. Rockin', one might say. At least one guy did. During Rock The Night, a guy came up to us and gave us a hug.

"You girls are the BEST. Keep rockin'! You rule the entire place." and then he went back to his seat. Haha! That was the most random thing that day. Seriously, we must have looked like idiots. But hey, that's my hobby, to embaress myself. ;P
Actually, when the show was over, that same guy came up to us again and asked if he could take a picture of us. His girlfriend did that too. HAHAHAH!

The show anyway, was the best thing I have ever seen. The sound-guy was a genious. It was loud, of course, but not too loud, so you didn't need the earplugs. The light was fantastic, although I missed flames shooting out from the stage during Flames.
Apart from that, it was more than anyone could ever wish for.

I could have stayed there for days, months, years. Forever. I will always stay with Europe, and Europe will always stay with me.
