Surely you've heard Wild Flag already? Can't go wrong with Mary Timony and Carrie Brownstein (The Spells, anyone?). But yeah, Mary's voice is delightfully haunting. I've been a fan of PJ Harvey for about seven years, and it's safe to say that 'Let England Shake' is one of my favorites by her, is my favorite album of 2011, and is my most played album thus far (according to Last.fm). The point is... thanks for the add. I might have to look into some of your music, 'cause I haven't heard it all, etc. Ciao!

    Hi there. I saw you on the page for Lisa Germano's "Cry Wolf". That's my favorite song from her and I adore Geek the Girl as a whole, but I agree with what you said on its page. It's very hard to listen to. I still can't listen to ...A psychopath all the way through. I love Cry Wolf for its beautiful melody, but also since I've never heard the unfair guilt and blame often experienced by rape victims articulated so perfectly before. LOL I get a lot of crap on here for liking Gaga, but everyone has different taste and I respect that. Beneath all the weirdness and synthesized pop candy, some of her songs actually have strong feminist messages. I've only heard Curve once or twice and I never really gave them a good listen. I'll give them a closer one. Also, I love the beautiful art on your page. Yay for Kaki and PJ! Have a good one.
