Their worst album for sure, I'd be happy with another "Sounds of a Playground Fading", but "Siren Charms" is a huge disappointment, just some good parts in some songs. They can do a lot better than this :(

Sorry when I read wrong when I posted the shoutout below, because I had just waken up. Anyways, Isis didn't NOT invent post-rock, not even close. When they released their first album Godspeed You Black Emperor had already released 2 albums and 1 EP. If someone "invented" this genre, I think credit should go to GY!BE because even though they may have not invented it, but they sure popularized it, just like Death, even though Possessed released their album before Scream Bloody Gore, but nobody gives a shit about Possessed so lol

I don't dig them man. They are Post-Metal, I don't enjoy this genre it's too heavy. I would much rather listen to God Is An Astronaut or Godspeed You! Black Emperor (fuckin best Post-Rock band ever!) and I don't really dig the vocals. Of course all of that is just muh opinion man :(

Ey yo! Hm thanks for the recommendations, I can't guarantee you I'll get to listening to them this week, but I'll get to listening to them. As for Isis, Palm, I sadly have to pass on them. Not my cup of tea. Although I might give Crosses a chance, because I remember listening to a few songs of them a while back and I didn't like it ALL THAT much to listen to their other stuff, and now I've listened to them again and I like it better than before. Still thanks for the recos, man. I'll get to listening to the bands you've recommend eventually, I'll start with Gridlink.

Nice! I like exploring in other genre than metal. Post-Rock for example, you always find very good stuff there. Or Boards Of Canada, an electronic band very very good stuff. I could never get into grindcore, it's just people playing 2 seconds and then stopping, and these 2 seconds are really fuckin' loud and distorted(is that the right word?) that my head want to explode.

No problem man. Yeah I remember when I listened to Heartwork the first time, it was like last year around this time, I was completely shocked. Also I can't listen to the first 2 albums, I just can't, they are absolutely not my cup of tea. I'll listen to Necroticism though, but the first 2 I'm really sorry. The last thing I want is a headache haha.
