I finally got around to checking out Cold Body Radiation last night. Listened to "Deer Twilight". Sounded good but didn't grab me straight up. Might be one to grow on me. I will dig up their first album and see how I go.

I saw a local band you might be interested in a couple weeks back. I got their CD and EP and they are good. The name is Dining In Tuscany. I could lend you the discs when Sharlene gets back to work.

Hey about your hardcore discussions, you may want to check out the band City in the Sea. Check out the song Pages or the song The Long Lost. Really good and interesting metalcore band if you're looking for something new.

Testament were great on saturday night. My second time seeing them. I could see them every week I reckon. A Tribe Called Quest are bringing the old school Hip-Hop at the Hordern tomorrow night. It is going to be a special show.

If we ever have a kid, boy or girl, we will be calling the child Corpsegrinder. Have you seen the Cannibal Corpse "Centuries Of Torment" DVD? It is bloody good!!! I could lend you that one too if you like.

The guy with the neck Sharlene was talking about is Corpsegrinder Fisher.

Well yeah, you know all roads lead to Rome and all that. How's it going?

I thought White Chapel were very average musically. Three guys with seven string guitars doing nothing of interest. Also, not my first but worst experience of that fucking fight dancing or whatever it is.

NAY!!! That is actually a tough question because I am not one to write off anything based on a genre label. I went to see Whitechapel last year and it was a sickening display. I don't mind a bit of Hatebreed though for example.

Friends are going to Stoneking but I'm not. We are heading north. I would go to Metal For The Masses if in town.

Stoneking is on this weekend. Saturday night at Selina's, Coogee Bay Hotel. Portishead self-titled is my favourite. A mate hooked me up with some Paul Butterfield Blues Band works which are fantastic!!!

My first loves were Faith No More, Metallica, Mr. Bungle, Sepultura, De La Soul, NWA, Public Enemy, Ministry... Those are some of my core early favourites. I was always into extreme Metal but only in more recent years have I delved more fully into it. Having a broad interest makes it harder to keep up with everything. I was 14 in 1992. I was really flogging the early works of Metallica back then. Not much has changed really!!!

I am in the Library. Same job as Sharlene. Lords Of Chaos sort of shit me as well with all the tangents they went on. Interesting but a bit far out I reckon. I have been seeing the bulk of the good Metal and other things that interest me for the last decade. In the 90's I saw a lot in the last few years but back in high school and for a while after I never went to gigs despite being into heps of music. I regret not seeing Sepultura with Max way back in 1992.

A lot of people seem to say they gave up on COF after Cruelty. I think all their albums have value. They are up to 8 studio albums plus various live, EPs and extras. I have nearly everything I think. "Damnation And A Day" is a favourite of mine that I hihgly recommend and their live album, "Live Bait For The Dead" is also excellent. I wish I could have seen them earlier in their career. Metal Maniacs is out of print but it had great coverage. They are online now instead.
