Inspired by Knirrie's journal article here, I created my mix of songs containing "oh SHIT!" moments…points in the song where for whatever reason, it makes you catch your breath or miss a step.

Listen to the first roaring accords after the calm intro… Oh SHIT!
Well, this is an Oh SHIT! situation from the TV series Ally McBeal when Barry White surprisingly appears at a birthday party, none the less, an amazing song.
I first heard this tune in 1973 at a discotheque somewhere in the country. Listening to the end part with the introduction of the instuments I had a moment of total ecstasy - unforgettable.
Wow! The chorus of the crowd is goosebump inducing.
This masterpiece of 1969 surprizes with an amazing acoustic part. Pure genius!
This live performance of the song is nothing but thrilling.
Three virtuosos of the acoustic guitar passing the melody like a ball from one to another.
The best live performance of a film score ever, the best encore of all concerts ever.
That's Rock 'n' Roll!!! Feel the noise!
Again an "Oh SHIT!" situation from a movie. You need to know the film to understand the clue, but if you don't know the film you're missing much more.
An MP3 file, found somewhere on the internet. Intoxicating!
