Sounds good, I'm not too picky, looking to save money/not spend much time in there more than anything anyways

I think it's pretty certain I can go if this second job comes up, the thing that sucks is I don't have a bunch of money sitting around to reserve hotels and shit. Like, I can get the money, it's just going to be in increments and such. Do you not have a concrete date for when you get deployed or whatever next?

haha. awesome i actually told him you were lookin for a place to stay so glad it worked out! Ill actually probably be crashing at their place that night as well. yeah i do. I am the advertising officer for UtC so I help get flyers printed and get the word out about shows. and i help set up and run shows occasionally. Under the Couch is basically all run by us students together which is nice and fun, especially since we can all pull together to get bands to come that we really like if it's in our budget. Mike's the official Booking Manager so he usually takes care of that side of things but any of us can help him out with it. House shows are some of the most fun shows i go to! hopefully you find a good place so you can host some.

also, as for cheap i am not too sure. obviously the safer the area the more expensive. also, it seems you are also friends with my friend michael_leon so he might have some good suggestions as well if you wanna check with him too. see you at the show!!

that's awesome you are coming to the show! I go to Georgia Tech / am helping work this show but since i live on campus, i have never actually needed a hotel in Atlanta for myself. I know the Hampton Inn near the Coca Cola building is close and should be safe, the Quality Hotel Downtown is close and on Luckie Street. I would also look online for places on/near North Avenue or in the Midtown Area (Midtown is generally really safe, especially near the Piedmont Park area and 10th street). Any hotel near Peachtree and 10th should be good as well, i have never had issues with that area. The Fairfield Inn is on Peachtree and is about 2 miles away from campus i think. Sorry your last time in Atlanta turned out like that, there are parts that suck. Basically, at night no matter where you are, try to walk or be with a group. I would avoid Homepark which is near Tech, that generally gets some trouble with burglaries and stick ups. Hope that helps or gives you an idea of close/safe places.

tbh the integrated radio they have on their site is pretty good for that, I'll be all over that once I can confirm that I'll be going to it
