Jag tror det snarare säger att jag tycker om att lyssna på dålig musik ibland. Du kan nog vara lugn faktiskt. :p

well to be completely honest now is the best time to try again. Their new album "Merriweather Post Pavillvion" is easily their most accessible album to date. Very poppy/dancy yet still retains the AC quality I have grown to love. Really they are easily one of the best band out there right now, as they are doing stuff nobody else dares do.

not really a Doherty fan really, but I agree about being excited about a Wilco and Shins albums, neither of which I knew about. And you're right about the Decemberists, Hazards of Love should be quite epic. Although I really am not kidding about Animal Collectives album. Its going to be really hard to top that one IMO.

Well that's good haha. I'd rather not be attacked, that's no fun. No, I get what you mean. But people hold stereotypes of everywhere so long as they don't live there, really. It's just something that occurs most places you go, unfortunately. But I can't say I think polar bears roaming the streets and year-round north pole-like conditions haha.

I cannot even begin to point out the ways in which I found that hilarious. It makes me very glad that most people I know do know at least basic geography. Although, I will say that some people do have a pretty skewed idea of the world here.

Hahaha, people actually spell it like that? That's hilarious in an obnoxious sort of way. Nah, nothing is never as bad as it is on television and movies. But the area (and the south of the country in general) is sort of famed for it, and I have met some pretty interesting people living here. And there are a lot of people with that mentality in the south, we call them ''rednecks, most normal people don't like them over here, either haha.

Haha, I see. Well even if I did move to either place, which I've sort of toyed with the idea of haha, not many people have the americanized spelling I'm sure haha. I live in Kentucky, but fortunately in a rare pocket free of hillbillies. So I wouldn't really know if we have anything going on with Canada. I'm sure Canada thinks we're all stupid like the rest of the world seems to nowadays haha!

It really is too bad because it makes attempts at figuring out my genealogy all the more difficult haha. Hooray for partial Norwegians!

    4 Ago 2008 Rispondi
  • ErikaEriksone

Yeah, you're definitely right in assuming that. Haha, it's actually been americanized with a "ck" and spelled Erickson. I'm assuming it was spelled Erickson sometime before one of my family members managed their way over here, though.

I'm from the states but my dad's side is mainly from Norway. I had a spanish teacher that would always mispronounce my last name and called me Erika all the time instead of Olivia (go figure...)... so it's become a nickname haha.

Haha, yeah, my cousin burned me a mix of his favorites by Frusciante awhile ago... I'll get on that.
