Hey hello there, I'm doing a little survey: If you should pick one male musician and one female musician for an ideal collaboration, who would you combine together?

Hey again! :D Thank you so much for your words, in one sense I'm sorry I did not see them before now, but in another sense I read them at a very good time. :) I was in need of a reminder of the cosmic spirit, of love, and boom! there one was. I'll definitely be coming to India at some point in the near future, but perhaps I'll try learning Sanskrit or Hindi first, which is very much on my calendar. :) The Hindu spiritual traditions in particular have so much wisdom in them for me, although all traditions seem to speak of the same Spirit, regardless of how they name it.. or us.. ;) But thank you very much again, your words were the right ones at the right time. I wish you love for yourself and for others, and I wish that both you and others let you rest and be energized as much as possible in the eternal radiant warmth of the all-loving One. ^_^ And yeah, track recommendations are very welcome! :D

Well I will give it another listen and see if I like it more, sometimes I think I am a little hasty because I have a HUGE backlog of music to go through that I haven't heard before. My favorite in terms of goa are Man With No Name, Moonweed, Astral Projection, that kind of stuff. The new-goa is ok but it lacks the harmonic melodies and the old sounding acid. The new acid is made with new software and machines but I sometimes wonder what it would be like to try and re-create classic goa using all the old hardware only, to make it authentic -- what would that sound like? That would be so cool. Anyway, yeah I like most psy except full-on, thats about it ;-)

So I actually checked out the new Skizologic and didn't like it really.. I thought it had too much full-on flavor and I'm not a huge fan of that unless its night full-on/twilight. I did love the moonweed track but the rest was 'ok' to me. Maybe I'll give it another listen... sometimes albums take a few listens before you can say "wow that is awesome!" :-)

And yeah, Astral Waves, I'm familiar with his stuff! DJ Zen. I've mostly listened to his tracks on the various compilations, very evocative and intense. Intensity is good too in music, energy and movement. :) I like a lot of the more ecstatic varieties of tech and deep house too, showing how intense Bliss can be. Do you like dancing? And while we're at it, any particular tracks you'd recommend at this point in time? :D

Loved your message, thanks! ^_^ I've gone into it very heavily, you know, lots of stuff. I mantra either aloud or in my head a large portion of the day, usually about Metta, you know, Love: "Love, Unity, Love, Contact; Love, Unity, Love, Contact" and so on, with holiness or sanctity taken in, all the various names for god or for Bliss, which I kinda feel is the unconditional love and goodness all things have within them for themselves and each other, our true nature. :) Lots of meditation too, Kundalini yoga, breathing exercises throughout the day, helping my body by stretching the places where energy is blocked, reading texts from various spiritual traditions, eastern and western, and contemplating on them... And music! :D Lots of music. For me Ishq often sounds like bliss, so I listen to that a lot and similar stuff, but there's lots of good music out there and it's good to be open. :) Astropilot often paints a lovely picture of eternity, which is also fundamental, very good stuff.

Oh hey man, sorry, didn't notice your shout until now for some reason. I'm doing pretty good, thanks, up and down as always, but mostly good. Getting very much into spiritual practice, in its many forms, and that seems like a very nice way forward. Musically I've focused a lot on really downtempo and calm stuff lately, with some tech house on top. Would really love a new Ishq or Astropilot record. How about you? :)

Lets see... AIMP 3 has awesome highly customizable skins, it groups everything by album if you want, or you can select how you want to organize your playlist. Cover art support is great, not only does it reach for 'folder' or 'cover' but also any image with the artist name or album name, etc.. you can customize that too. Everything has the ability to be tweaked. And the sound quality is amazing, it also has built-in support for DSP and scrobbling.. I like it!!

Sound quality wise, i personally prefer Foobar with Wasapi (event) output than all the other players around. Skinning it used to be hard, but recent skins are very easy to install.

Thanks!! I like the shouts too. So.. foobar (www.foobar2000.org) is a music player. I used Winamp all my life, until I decided to try Foobar. It is kind of boring to look at with basic installation so I tried a skin that I really loved. Skinning it is hard. Not easy like Winap. So when I tried to install a different one I screwed up and went back to Winamp. Might try again... but Winamp has been good to me...
