Don't be Gok, i think he's been losing his touch recently- last Fashion Fix he was wearing a golfing jumper and old dad's jeans! After 4th year I think the other picture was closer to my true likeness but I went with the more flattering because Im vain like that :)

okay the song you recommended me was depressing, mostly because it so so true- relationships can easily become as stale as yesterdays doughnuts, and I gave them a poke and they're pretty stale

Hey! This is the best procrastination I've done all weekend. Apparently our musical compatibility is 'SUPER' but i think Im going to have to test those boundaries with some eighties pop at some point. x

i have just about all of their stuff, I think my favorite is How We Operate, though I've really started to like Liquid Skin lately. I wish they would play them more on the radio here.

Gomez isn't huge in the USA, but I've listened to them for about 3 years now, since I heard How We Operate on the radio. They're part of my growing preference for Brit rock, pop etc, it just fits what I like to listen to vs the stuff coming out of the US lately

wow you really sound like you know what your talking about ! I feel like I should be paying you for all this expert advice LOL! I havnt had a chance to measure my strings yet but they seem to be at different heights to each other which probably isnt ideal I'm guessing! =)

thanx for your concern! I don't think EVH has any thing to worry about yet! I have just been looking at some lessons on youtube there are some pretty good ones , plus some people covering Invincible , which I won't be attempting any time soon ! you need a Digitech whammy to play it anyway which I don't. nearly everyone on those vids seem to have Ibanez. can I ask do you need to have low action to do tapping ?

  • silverbomber

ha ha yeah that could be it ! I forget that impossible to believe as it sounds not everyone likes them !! I'm off to practice some finger tapping. =)

LOl I never think of people looking at my page as stalkers , but if someone doesnt leave a shout I take it as a personal insult to my music taste!! LOL

well I could pretend to be psychic , which I usually do , but actually its just one of the perks of being a subscriber! radiohead at RAH would be amazing ! I saw them last year but it was really ruined for me by the venue. I'm very jealous of you seeing Muse at Glastonbury it must have been sooo awesome to see them on the pyramid stage . very sad that Dom's Dad died just after they got off stage.I hope that doesnt put them off playing there again .

well great minds think alike and all that! !I think Muse may have nicked the idea from Metallica! I went to Chelmsford but I would NEVER go again !! I hated the actual so called "festival " . But Muse were really good , though not the best I've seen them. I managed to get to the second from front row and nearly died of excitement in MOTP when Matt did the guitar solo on his knees in front of me( even though it was still quite a distance away!!) then before the encore the girl in front didnt feel well and wanted to go over the barrier so I ended up right in the front which was pretty overwhelming as I am a massive fan , as youve probably noticed!! I was too close to really see the satalites and lasers but I dont think Muse need those distractions to be awesome . my fav gig was at the Albert Hall and they didnt have video screens or anything and it was incredible!=)

hello hows your new toy? thanks for the adive . I think I might get someone to look at it . to be honest I dont understand much about the technicalities of setting it up and adjusting the amp , or setting the parameters on my effects pedal or whatever.I'm not very techically minded . maybe I should have a few lessons to explain it all !! I do actually have an acoustic Yamaha which I got on Ebay . I play it probably more than my electric .=)

well I wanted an Ibanez because I used to think Steve Vai was the greatest guitarit ever and so I wanted one like his with the Tree of life design on the fretboard , in fact one came up on Ebay and I was quite tempted to bid !! but actually I'm not sure what I want , I think my Aldi special will do ok until I get better. It sounds alright with the effects pedal and I dont think a new guitar is going to improve my playing , I just need to practice. !
