A Recommendation List To Everyone!

This journal will be one about what I call "master songs". That are songs you must have listened to in your life. I will start with my favourite song ever and that will be, how appropriate, One of U2. This has got an amazing build up and goes to a brilliant climax. Next to the fact that the music is amazing, the lyrics are, like almost every song of the Irish rock formation, very catching. You can find the song on the album Achtung Baby, Best of 1990-2000 and 18 Singles.

The second song is Wonderwall and is from Oasis. And that's an English band, where I had my first single from. On that same single you can also find the song Round Are Way, which is in my opinion also a really good song (but that are many of Oasis. Wonderwall, you can find on the album (What's The Story) Morning Glory and of course the compilation album; Stop the Clocks.

The third song in this list is again from a Brittish artist. Sulk from Radiohead is a song with exellent guitar part and I can only say that you have to listen to this song with an increased volume. This song is not a song that's very popular compared to other more famous songs of Radiohead, but in my opinion its one of their best. The Bends is the album on which you can find this song. Unfortunately it's not on their best of.

Next in the list is Angels Of The Silences from the album Recovering The Satellites and that is of course from the American band Counting Crows. This is a highly energetic song, which is the second song of the second album of the group.

After three bands its now the turn to a singer / songwriter. Its a man that unfortunately doesn't perform a lot outside Sweden, (his homeland). The artist I'm talking about is Eagle Eye Cherry. And for this list I choose the song Are You Still Having Fun, a song from the album; Living In The Present Future. Eagle Eye has such an amazing relaxed voice, that I think everybody with a little taste can appreciate.

Now its the turn for again an Irish band, but this time with a female leadsinger. Delilah from The Cranberries is not a song that made them famous, but its such a strong song. It already starts with a rough guitar part and the enrgy is than bursting out from this song. The song stands on the album; Bury the Hatchet.

Ain't Got No, I Got Life from Nina Simone is classic song and I think everyone will recognise this brilliant song. Ne me quitte pas is an album on which you can find the song. Although there are people complaining about a bad life, this song states that even when you have almost nothing you CAN have a life.

Maybe Tomorrow is song by Stereophonics and is a song that is in one word incredible. Just listen to it and I'm sure you agree with this. The song is used as a soundtrack in the academie award winning movie "crash". Unlike many other songs on the the album on which you can find the song, this is more a jazzy track. The album by the way is; You Gotta Go There to Come Back
