Fri 29 May – The Deep Vibration

The band was a no show. The barkeep told me they broke up, that the bass player quit the band. I'm not too sure if that's true. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Very disappointing.

This is what The Deep Vibration emailed me today:

But our bass player left the band (very unexpectedly) after our Birmingham show on the 24th. Roman Candle's bass player filled in on the rest of the dates leading up to Philly on the 28th, but he wasn't able to play the Boone show, so neither were we.

RC's bass player is going to play on the few festival dates we have scheduled this summer, but we're going to take most of the summer off to write and find a new, great bass player. Sorry you drove out to Boone! We'll definitely make it up to you.

Thanks for your support! We'll try to make it back to the Carolinas in the fall.
