I'm a fan of Morten Harket's voice as well, Curt Smith and Jónsi Birgisson are also good.

Good question! Probably either Alison Shaw from Cranes or Karin Dreijer Andersson of Fever Ray. I tend to like fairly unusual voices, I guess. How about you?

Oh, yes. You are absolutely rigt. It never struck me. Fleetwood Mac, Bobbie Gentry, Kate Bush, Saint Etienne and Jakoenigja in my Top 50. Conidering that roughly 50 percent of the poulation are female, that is not too much. Wonder how that could happen. ;-)

The Devils are here: http://www.last.fm/music/The+Devils you can find Videos to "Dark Circles", "Hawks Don't Share" and "Aztec Moon" there. Unfortunately I can't watch the Video you have linked. "Not available in your country". copyright bullshit, Universal Music Group, blah blah

Yep. Paddy is the word and the word is love ;-) What I love about LC is that he has the ability to look upon his life with just the right amount of self-irony. And he is a brillant lyricist. And Morrissey is getting better the older he gets. A Diva trapped in an ageing cab-driver's body. Did you ever hear "The Devils"? The Project of Nick Rhodes and Stephen Duffy, here they recorded a couple of tracks they wrote when they were the very first incarnation of Duran Duran. They did a couple of great interviews around the time. Great humour between them. Kind of odd-couplish.

Oh, and Paddy McAloon of course. But he is God anyway, as everybody knows. So it is probably better to like him.

Well, I guess it's mostly bono who pisses me off. Voice and style and, well, the whole package. But you can't really argue about him. You eithet love him or hate him, I guess. But Lloyd Cole and Morrissey have always been important beacons in a sea of shit for me. And Stephen Duffy belongs in that category as well. For me. Eno/Ferry, Becker/Fagen etc. Well, you can see my list... ;-)
