Hi, I hope you are well. I have a couple of tracks for you to download from my website. (link below) They are on the audioplayer, we are going to keep placing tracks here every few weeks for you to download. It is difficult to send messages on last.fm so make sure that you are on the dontTouch mailing list so you don't miss any tunes.

Hi there, this is Corin from Alpha. I now have my own page which I would love you to go and make friends so I can tell you about new music I am making. You also need to sign up to the mailing list here where you can get free downloads and get involved in making music with Alpha.
From observing the stats on last.fm there are thousands of Alpha fans out there that do not know of all the new music Alpha have made over the last nine years. However without big promo budgets that we do not have its hard to reach everyone. Last fm is not the website it used to be, before it got bought out by big corporate company you could advertise for a good price now it very expensive to advertise and contact fans. Typical of the industry, trying to keep control, like buying last.fm - always trying to cut out the small labels and keep the machine working for them. I have always been into alternative music which is where new music starts like House (the last big movement I think in music), trip hop, etc... but then once the new genre starts to get big it moves over to the major labels (industry) and is no longer cool. Now we also live with file share which makes things even harder to earn money and I cannot make it for free so we need the support of our fans. You can start by joining the mailing list and to tell others. I am about to launch a new music service at donttouchrecordings.com which I am very excited about including garden walks movies, get involved in making music with me, help develop new Alpha tracks and release tracks of your own, so make sure you signed up to the mailing list to receive all the info. Alpha also have their own facebook fan page.

No Scrobbing?

It say's I haven't played any music, well that isn't quite true. I play vinyl a lot so computer knows nothing. My Son uses this computer and all he plays is Michel Jackson , I think last fm might call me a 'looser'. I dont hate Mr Jackson but I am not a fan either and I can't believe the poor or should I say bland production on a lot of the lesser known songs. Could he not afford real strings?
I will attempt to sort out scrobbing on my other computer, the one I use to make music. Surprising it may seem, I don't have a big music collection any how, will it scrob unreleased music?
I hope last fm will introduce me to new music. I shall be checking out some of the artist you are listening to that I have not heard of....
