Your music taste is horribly, ridiculously inconsistent and diverse

Portishead are one of your top gigs, awesome. That was a hell of a show! I'd waited so long to see them and they sure as hell didn't disappoint.

Hi, thank you for replying to my shout. I do not own a vinyl and frankly I cannot afford to buy one. I buy music. I am glad that you do not support piracy, I am in the same boat as you. Though I do make some exceptions for obscure stuff which are generally not available on the internet. This is one of the rare cases. I would be grateful though if you could just find it in your heart to share the music created by a fantastic band and help us appreciate it. Though it's completely your decision to make, and I do not judge you on that. On a more lighter note, if you do decide to share it, rip it in a FLAC. I hate mp3's. :D Cheers! Have a nice day! and no, its not a Bon Jovi reference.

Greetings from England: not all Katatonia fans are rude pirates or hypocrites, all best wishes!

Ok, I appreciate your answer and your honesty. Just want to tell you that we are not all rude and crazy pirates of the internet stream, many of us are just simple fans who haven't (and don't want) a Vinyl Player but want the opportunity to listen to an album for whom they waited two years. It's good to see your genuine point of view, but I hope you understand the crazyness of releasing such an anticipated record only on Vinyl, and I think there wouldn't be anything wrong on sharing it with someone... and it's really sad to see that, as usual, no one will have this opportunity for one or two assholes who didn't deserve it. Anyway, thank you man and thanks for your answer. Nice tastes ;)

Hello! I noticed you have Last Fair Day Gone Night by Katatonia in your library. That album seems to be impossible to be found on Mp3, so I'm wondering if there is any possibilities that you're going to share it with me and many other Katatonia fans around the web. x2

Yeah it's probably best for everyone to just move on, although I do think Josh has turned into a bit of a dick. It was strange not having Nick there, seemingly he is still with them just not on this tour. At least Bruno has improved considerably, in my opinion anyway

I think I might have solved the mystery Kyuss song... they've been playing a new track off the Vista Chino record called "Dragona". Makes sense to play it after John's little speech...

The setlist was a bit odd, but the same applies to every show on the tour. I'm not a big fan of their early work but the recent material just sounds amazing live, even Thom's voice is surprisingly good. Overall it's right up there with Portishead for me.

Hey! I saw that you're interested in going to Coachella and thought you might be interested my blog, Every day my blog features one artist playing at the upcoming Coachella festival. Here I've created an information and media center that aggregates basic artist information, third party reviews, music, and music videos conveniently in one place. It also allows you to listen to music playlists grouped by genre and artist. Happy listening!

Ah well you seemed like you'd know, so yeah. It's always a possibility, and judging by Mark's vocals in Sleeping Satellite, I'd say they have similar voices, at different pitches.

I like music. This shouldn't be news to you as you're viewing my profile on a site which is pretty much all about music. What music do I like? A bit of everything, really. The charts you see are indeed what I listen to the most, but this is often influenced strongly by what concerts I'm going to, as I will usually like to get excited and listen to the bands. And I regret to say that if you dig further into the charts, you might find some "music" that was at some point in time listened to by my brother or sister before I discovered how to delete things in recent tracks :) And please don't comment on the fact that my music taste is horribly, ridiculously inconsistent and diverse. I'm aware of it.

You may recognise my face as "that guy that goes to gigs". I have spent an absolute fortune gigs over the (almost) three years I've been living in Melbourne, and I don't regret it at all. In case you were wondering (huh, I doubt it...), my top gigs that I have been to are:

1. Portishead, November 12th 2011 @ The Gathering Festival, Werribee Park
2. Kyuss, May 8th 2011 @ Palace Theatre.
3. An Evening With Dream Theater, Jan 29th 2008 @ Festival Hall
4. Pearl Jam and Ben Harper and Relentless7, Nov 20th 2009 @ Etihad Stadium.
5. Armin Only - Mirage with Armin van Buuren, New Years Eve 2010-11 @ Etihad Stadium.
6. Cynic Jan 3rd 2010 @ Billboard the Venue. (It was an absolute dream come true to see these guys live in Australia. I do hope they come back.)

Milestone tracks ahoy! These seem to have changed... I'm not sure why, maybe after iPod scrobbles got added... and I'm using a different site to get these now, eh whatever...
10000: The Mars Volta - Idle Tooth
20000: Porcupine Tree - Collapse the Light Into Earth
30000: Judas Priest - Future of Mankind
40000: TV on the Radio - Stork and Owl
50000: Karnivool - New Day
60000: Massive Attack - Better Things
70000: The Decemberists - Sixteen Military Wives
80000: Birds of Tokyo - Circles
90000: Tool - Schism
100,000: sleepmakeswaves - so that the children will always shout her name

Please take note of this. I'm now taking the meaning of the word "friend" quite literally. If I don't know you IRL, or at least from somewhere else on the Internet, chances are I won't accept your friend request. Nothing personal, just that my friends list was becoming a bit cluttered with all sorts of people. I mean, you can always talk to me via my shoutbox or whatever... also, random band requests. Not a fan...
