Showbiz I felt carried its Radiohead inspiration too much - though everyone has to start somewhere (an idea Radiohead forgot themselves I think). Origin of Symmetry was much better, but perhaps too front-loaded with the good stuff. Still, the first seven tracks made for one of the finest first halves of an album ever. Though that meant Absolution had a lot to live up to... which it largely didn't, though Stockholm Syndrome and Hysteria were individually better than any other single track on OoS (I could have just listened to Hysteria on repeat forever).
So, to BHaR... I don't think there's a bad track on it. Maybe Soldier's Poem - but that's a personal dislike of that style and where would we be if everyone was the same? Favourites would have to be... Map of the Problematique, Knights of Cydonia (anyone else think they'd been watching too many spaghetti westerns when writing that one?) and a toss-up between Starlight and Invincible (like the guitar solo - would love to see some Muse on Guitar Hero). My biggest complaint would be that it's a tad short (but then, it's 45 mins - which was the normal album length pre-CD - and I was pondering the other day if the "requirement" to fit an hour of music on CDs hasn't affected quality somewhat).
