Fun Fact: The founding drummer of the The Dillinger Escape Plan, Chris Pennie, is Coheed's current drummer. The one we saw in Baltimore. I just saw you were listening to them, what do you think? I've never really heard anything.

Yeah, bro, you know I love those guys. Seeing Warren Haynes walk on stage at that concert was like the best thing ever too, haha. I'll have to get both of those(Coheed and Primus) to you.

You should give the Unplugged one a few more tries. Maybe it's one of those albums that would grow on you after a few listens. It's a different side of Nirvana but I dig it. And your default pic's hilarious btw.

I'd say you should check out Incesticide. And maybe you could give From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah a listen if you wanna hear live Nirvana .

I kept them on loop for hours-long sessions, and they're a minute apiece XD. But I'm very skewed in my plays anyhow what with DT.

Oh definitely, probably my favorite part of the band. Despite it not being my favorite album, his drumming in In The Absence of Truth is sick. It's got a real tribal feel to it and makes their buildups just sound amazing.

Well they've basically gone through 3 different sounds the sludgy metal of their early EP's/Celestial, the epic post-metal of Panopticon/Oceanic, and finally the slight post-rock trend they've kind of been following to an extent with ITAOT/and the new Wavering Radiant. I personally enjoy everything they've done but if you were to start on Isis I would start with Panopticon or Oceanic, Panopticon's probably my favorite of the two. That's kind of the Isis sound that influenced so many post-metal bands and I don't know anybody that speaks negatively about those two. In the Absence of Truth and Wavering Radiant are still pretty similar so they'd be worth checking out after that. Celestial and everything before that is a little different (it's very good though) and is mostly straight up sludge metal, I don't know if thats your thing or not.

It's ok, I forgive you. Yeah Florida was awesome. There was Disney World, a mall with 2 Starbucks right across the hallway from each other (both open and thriving), sketchness that is Miller, and many shenanigans. Luckily I got out just before being owned by that storm. And this man in my profile, is a hero to many. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ3oHpup-pk

it went well, we played two more new songs and a revised version of YYZ and F# minor jam with keys. I havent seen any of the video yet, but from what I understand it sounded good. And it should sound even better at Backyard Bash, which hopefully you will be back here in time for.
