Descrizione

We are a music webzine that is mostly rock based, but generally will be handling anything that we enjoy listening to and sharing. Things posted will be ranging from reviews, interviews, music news, opinion articles (about current music scenes, music history, music in general, personal journeys/experiences in the music world), to any special columns guest writers would like to do. The main goal of this webzine is to present a wide array of perspectives on the music world that will possibly expand the reader's understanding of what constitutes "good music" or make them aware of the amazing diversity that exists within it.

The inspiration for our name comes from Dax Rigg’s first solo album called, “We Sing of Only Blood or Love“.

If you would like to have your band or project reviewed then please contact us on Myspace, Facebook , Twitter, Youtube, or Email bloodorlovezine@gmail.com.

Same rules apply if you would like to contribute by writing something for the site. There are some guidelines that we would like contributors to be aware of:

Length doesn’t matter to us, but for reviews we do not like verbose track by track breakdowns. There is a clear difference between giving the review “soul” and just being boring with your writing style. Generally speaking, it would be ideal if guest writers could give their personal touch to articles that they submit on here. Excessive cursing in one post will not be accepted due to the fact that it’s ridiculous and counterproductive. And, of course, no racist and/or discriminatory bullshit will be accepted meaning that any band/group that glorifies that to a horrendous degree will not make the cut. There are some genres that we will not accept articles about and those would include pop of any generation, screamo, metalcore, deathcore, any other “-core” that isn’t hardcore or grindcore, and mainstream anything. However, we do have the capacity to change our minds on this if you are particularly convincing and if we like the samples you send our way.

The matter of content aside, at the bottom of every post that features an artist, I would like for an Amazon product to be linked and any other place where the reader can purchase the artist’s stuff should be manually linked. Download links may be provided for works that are out of print, bootlegs, demos, and/or freely distributed by the artist via the internet. Please take care to not post broken links.

That being said...

Thank you for dropping by and considering contributing or sharing your work with us!
