Nice to see a fellow Bill Nelson fan on here! I was bizzarely introduced to him via an instrumental album called 'Practically Wired... Or How I Became Guitarboy". Been hooked ever since. Have you heard a one off album he did under the name Red Noise?

Good to hear from you. I second your love of vinyl, but I also remember the fragility of the old 78 rpm platters. You would bring them home and somehow they got cracked - at which point you lost the whole two tracks that you had paid a relative (for a kid) fortune for. Technological progress is fun.

Thank you for The Smithereens. ;D Didn't know them at all. But there is such a great number of bands on lastfm I haven't heard about, so I'm listening to music all of my lifetime. In the past it hadn't been that easy to find new sounds and bands. Now one can turn on a MiniMac and an amp and the music of the whole world is within reach. Greetings from Bavaria!
