    Well, post-hardcore is a legit genre. A really good genre. If you are interested, go check out bands like Gospel, City of Caterpillar, Drive like jehu and At The Drive-in. 9GBO and deadman are one of those better bands I still listen to but my charts had so much stuff I don't care about at all. MUCC, D'espairsRay, the gazette, Moi Dix Mois and stuff like that dominated my overall charts too much. Oh, there are of course japanese bands that aren't a part of the visual kei scene I like. 凛として時雨 for example is a really tight band :)

    Just like you, I prefer CoL to envy but nonetheless envy is terrific. Athough I'd say envy isn't as much post-metal as it is post-hardcore(genre faggotry, I know). I love the emotion of the music but the screams of envy's singer can get really monotonous. Need to check that Ahab out. On another note, finally got around to resetting my charts :D Took some bravery but I knew it was inevitable to get rid of all the japanese music I never listen to. Dir en grey is one of the only bands I regularly listen to anymore.

    I only own xbox360 so no :| But if it's anything like Alastair Reynold's books, then I'd propably love it. What did you think of Rosetta's new album? I'd say it's a really good album, but it's nowhere near The Galilean Satellites(which I'd put in my top ten favorite albums). TGS really makes me feel the crushing emptiness of space and it's brutal coldness. ADOM on the other hand is just more like basic post-metal if you ask me.

    I listen to them pretty much everytime I take a (long) walk or hop on a train to Paris, but my iPod scrobbling hasn't been working for months. CoL, Neurosis, Isis (RIP ;_;) and Russian Circles would be much higher in my charts if this thing worked properly. :(
