- Balkan Electrique (Poland) - [split-up] Synth Pop/Balkan Folk Music. Possibly the most underrated polish band. They combined balkan folk with pop music at the truly bad time for such activity on polish market. After (official) regained independence, the Poles were hungry for Western culture, which hopes them help to break away from the east. Collectively, rejected everything that was associated with the east and glorified the west. Then came hip-hop, McDonald's and first capitalistic millionaires. Sad times. Poland has always been a link for west and the east. Providing balance and cultural dialogue, sometimes being a buffer zone. Losing over time, but also gaining the experience. Just like Balkan Electrique. Now they are still underrated and more unknown to the world. Pity because their music are actually excellent and addicting.

- Dunkel:heit (Norway) - [suspended?] Extreme Industrial Metal/Electronic. One full-length album called Obey. Music inspired by Ministry and Norwegian industrial band Munch. Extremely rare piece . Try type "dunkel:heit obey" in google or check out my blog ;)

- Elysium (Poland) - [split-up] Awesome band from Wroclaw (Breslau)! Full of energy, beautiful, expressive melodies in melodic death metal formula with polish gothic influences. Split-up in 2007 leaving as with five good albums and one long demo tape.

- Anorexia Nervosa (France) - [suspended?] Symphonic Death/Black Metal. Well-known band but worth to talk about. My favorite from France. AN bring the fresh air into Symphonic BM. Sounds powerful and decadent. New Obscurantis Order are best album to start listening.

- Myrkskog (Norway) - [suspended] Extreme sound-wall, Death/Black Metal. Fuckin' powerful and addictive for me. Good, speed and heavy riffs. Have two albums. Official website not existing anymore. Only MySpace.

- Sirrah (Poland) - [split-up] Gothic/Doom Metal. One of the best polish band (maybe even the best). Have two albums and one ep.

- Svann (Poland) - [split-up] Atmospheric Gothic Rock/Metal. One-album project. Very unique sound and beautiful, atmospheric compositions. On vocals Anja Orthodox from Closterkeller.
---===<(o)>===---

- Underground Moon (USA) - [split-up?] Industrial Rock. Only one album released in fall of 2001 the "Underground Moon". Composed by Dominic Moon (Jeff Pilson - ex-Dokken, ex-Dio). The well played material but now it gone old. However it's a good album and worth to listen out.
---===<(o)>===---

- The Sisters of Mercy (Great Britain) - [split-up] One of the best bands of Gothic Rock. Unfortunately they stop recording after little misunderstood with a label and now this is only live band. Most atmospheric album is Floodland.
---===<(o)>===---

- Will (Canada) - [split-up] Industrial/EBM/Martial Industrial/neoclassical. Will was a collaboration between Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly, Conjure One), Chris Peterson (Decree) & vocalist John McRae. They produced one album and EP in the early nineties but remained inactive afterwards. On guitar, band supports Jeff Stoddard. John McRae, Jeff Stoddard and Chris Peterson continued working together on their Decree project. Will was great and successful attempt to merge EBM/neoclassical and martial industrial together.
