You have a pretty comprehensive taste as well, so much high quality music of all imaginable origins!

你好! For some reason, you shout surprised me. My musical taste covers many countries, I still listen to both John Tavener and Tengger Cavalry. Lucky you! I wish I could go to their concerts. Yes, but I am the beginner of beginners and I am more interested in calligraphy than in speaking the language, although you never know. :)

And oh, your favorite Dylan track is Girl from the North Country? You're like too good to be true. Let's be friends! :-D

Hey, last.fm informed me about a Huun-Huur-Tu gig at 愚公移山 this month (sadly I don't live in Beijing anymore, but I still like to keep updated about events there) and I saw you’re going and clicked on your profile out of curiosity and man oh man, my jaw dropped to the ground as I gazed upon the awesomeness that is your charts!!! It has never happened before that I've found someone else who listens to both the likes of Van Zandt and Dylan and old delta blues like Mississippi John Hurt and Leadbelly AND metal like Burzum, Ulver and Agalloch AND synth like Depeche Mode and New Order AND classical music on top of that! And I see a Sonny Boy Williamson II record listed among your top albums – when studying in China I wrote a text for 读写课 about an encounter between him and my dad, but neither my teacher nor any other Chinese person I’ve met knew who he was (not that I expected them to). Are you Chinese or a China expat, if you don't mind me asking?

Yea, I definitely dig the new Battles. I've been meaning to to listen to the new Low, and I'll check out Grails and Tim Hecker (I'm not a fan of Moonsorrow). I've heard portions of the new Devin Townsend...I wasn't a fan the first time around. Have to give'em another spin.

It's great, man! I'm teaching for an English institute here. My plan right now is that I want to continue teaching abroad for the next 4-5 years and then after that get my Masters in Teaching ESL. That's the tentative plan for now. Any recent music I should be checking out? I might suggest the newest Wye Oak and Cave In if you haven't heard them
