Yep I really enjoyed all three of them. I think Dystonia Duos is my favorite of the three (though I really like Sinter too). I'm really excited for all the new Erstwhile albums coming out this year, especially the Lambkin/Lescalleet one. Also interested to see how Lescalleet and Drumm sound together. Plus, Rowe's The Room Extended :D

Ive spent many, many hours in that stripped-bared world. Young Person's Guide is exactly the textures and tone swells I've always wanted, since I first minimalized my during-piano-practice improvisations and discovered I'm a more content (yet simultaneously infinitely more anxious) person than most everybody around me--especially with sounds/ambience. I pinpointed precise moments oof texture and tone that struck me in my early days of music love (emo, screamo), while everybody around me noticed sections or combined parts. That violin at the end of Orchid's ... And the Cat Turned to Smoke.... and now I find myself indulged in worlds similar to my world I thought could never be resembled.

Yea, I was generally referring to EAI music in general. I've been aware of Erstwhile and I've been trying to get through some of that stuff. And I think I always took lowercase to be the same as what you described. And I've been listening to some Steve Roden lately... I have to say that I really liked Four Possible Landscapes and Light Forms. I also just listened to Crossing the River from Bernhard Günter and thought it was nice. Any specific recs for those two? As for the epic masterpieces, I'll definitely check those out when I have the time. I've actually already heard Good Morning Good Night but I feel like I need to revisit it a good bit more because I found it pretty hard to get through it all. It was a bit unexpected actually because I've heard solo releases from those individual artists and have enjoyed those all a good bit. Thanks again, really grateful for your help.
